Prayer written in Delphi, Greece, on 11-11-11
 
Lord Apollo with your golden light
protect me this day and night
as I visited your most sacred of sites
of Delphi in the Greek mountain heights.

With the Acropolis up on the hill
looking down upon Athens city
as it has for so long and will
I sit watching living history
being briefly apart of the place
where Ares and Aphrodite
still carry on their chase
and Posideon is still the sea

Dear Ares. help me fight
against those things not right
and battle for who I do care
Help me defeat every foe
and yet always know
what wars, I can not win
so I will live to fight again
