Spirit Medallion
Alrighty, just so you know, there’s been a loooooong gap from when I wrote the rest of the walkthrough ‘til now. So my slang and wording may be a little different. Now that I’ve made that completely pointless comment (well, not COMPLETELY pointless), let’s continue.
Soon Navi will mention the desert. So let’s head on out. If you haven’t been there to get the Biggoron Sword, you’re going into new territory. To get to Gerudo Valley (the entrance to the desert), follow the wall of Hyrule Field left past the entrance of Lake Hylia. Before you enter, call Epona. Once she’s there, get on her back and ride in. Cross the first skinny bridge. If this was your first time, you’ll see that the bridge over a REALLY deep ravine is broken. Bring Epona to those steps, line her up just right, then back her up as far as you can. Then start runnin, give her two carrots and she should jump over the ravine. Super Epona!! If she screeches to a stop, just back her up and try again. Once over the bridge, talk to the man outside the tent. It’s the boss from the Kakariko from when you were younger. He’ll ask you to find his workers. So get back on Epona and head on to Gerudo’s Fortress.
In the overview of Gerudo’s Fortress, you’ll see a whole buttload of them milling around. The Gerudos are supposedly a race of warrior women. Kind of like the Amazon, I guess. How they reproduce, I have no clue. -shrug- Whatever. Anyway, you won’t be able to go far without having the whistle blown on you. Then they’ll throw you in a cell. LoL, that’s okay, let them. Then look up at the window and pull out your Longshot. Aim for the wood above the window and let ‘er rip.
Fall all the way to the ground, being aware of the Gerudo guarding that area, and go in the doorway. Now you’re in the Thieves’ Hideout. Go around the corner and you’ll find one of the workers from the Kakariko. Go talk to him. He’ll ask you to get him out, but once he finishes talking, a Gerudo falls down. You have to fight her. She’s pretty easy. Fight her the same way you fight Stalfos. When you defeat her, she’ll jump away and leave a key. Use it to unlock the worker’s cell. Talk to him. He’ll introduce himself as Ichiro and ask you to save his three other companions. When he’s gone, go out the door to your left. You’ll be outside again. Surrender to yourself to one of the Gerudos and they’ll throw you back in the same cell. Again, get out your Longshot and get out of there. From the window, jump to the ledge above the doorway you went in before. Go in and wait behind the crate. In the main room are two Gerudos. Shoot the one that just stands there with an arrow. Another Gerudo will walk into your line of vision, so shoot her. If you want, you can try to kill the jars and boxes in there to get goodies. Just remember, the Gerudos will wake up eventually and if they see you, you’ll have to start again from your cell. Go up the hallway to the left then Longshot to the wood over the ledge. You’ll drop on the other side. Then go up the long incline and you’ll be outside. There’s a hole in the floor, below is your cell. LoL. Look to the left and you’ll be able to reach the big chest with your Longshot. Do it, inside is a piece of heart. Then go forward then drop of the ledge to the right. Go into the doorway. Wait behind the crate. When a Gerudo walks by, shoot her with an arrow. Then go right, then left. In this room you find another jail cell with a worker in it. Again, go talk to him and when he finishes, you have to fight another Gerudo. When she’s gone, get the key and unlock Jiro, the worker. Two buddies left. Go back out the way you came. Look to the left and up and there’s a Gold Skulltula. Then jump off the ledge and go in the doorway to the right. Go down the hallway and you’ll find ANOTHER locked up worker. Talk to him, then fight the Gerudo. Unlock Sabooro then go back the way you came. Climb up the vines on the wall in front of you. Go into the doorway in front of you, not to the left. In here is the last worker! Talk to him, then fight the Gerudo. Unlock Shiro and he’ll tell you a tip he over heard from the Gerudos. “In order to cross the Haunted Wasteland, you’ll need the ‘eye of truth.’ The Colossus is on the far side of the wasteland…” (Hm. I’m not too down with anything called “the Haunted Wasteland”.) After Shiro leaves, a Gerudo will appear and start talking to you! She’ll tell you about Nabooru, Ganondorf’s second in command… She’s in the Spirit Temple… Aren’t people in temples supposed to equal sages and not evil Ganondorf helpers? Well, the Gerudo will also give you the Gerudo’s Card. Now you can walk around the Fortress area without being thrown into a cell. You can also go into the Gerudo Training Grounds.
Go back outside and call Epona. Now goo all the way to the right of the Hideout and you’ll find the Horseback Archery Course. If you can 1000 points, you get a piece of heart. Here’s a tip, shoot the jars. They’re 100 points each and they’re easy to hit if you get a rhythm going. Also, when you get to the end of the course and Epona turns around, you can hit that target as many times as you want. If you try again for 1500 points, you get a big arrow quiver, which allows you to carry up to 40 arrows at once! This next part is optional. Skip on to the next paragraph if you want. But there is----
The Gerudo Training Grounds. Look to the right by the path to the Horseback Archery place. There’s a different-looking Gerudo. Talk to her and pay her ten rupees and she’ll open the ground for you. Go in and you’ll see three lions’ heads with door in their mouths. Not exactly inviting, but kinda cool. If you’re low on arrows, shoot the golden eye above the entrance and a treasure chest will appear. To start off, go in the door to the left. In this room, you have to kill two Stalfos in one minute. Be careful, because if you stand still too long, you’ll sink a little in the sand. The sand won’t eat you, it only goes up to about your knees, but it will slow you down. And for some reason, even if you Z-target, both Stalfos will take swings at you at the same time. Once they’re defeated, a treasure chest containing a key will pop up. Get the key then go in the next room. In the next room, you have a minute and a half to get all the silver rupees. (I’m not particularly fond of this room.) First, you see a rupee in front of you. Place yourself so that you will grab as you longshot to the target on the ceiling. Next, look back and you’ll see another rupee by the ceiling. Longshot to the target by that, then go back to where you landed for the first rupee. Go to the left, wait for a boulder to go by, go to the right, and get the rupee at the end. Then go down and get the rupee at the other end. Then go back to the place you landed when you longshot. (Longshoted?) Now go to the right. Wait for you boulder again, then go down to the right. At the end, turn right and there’s another rupee. When you get them all, longshot to the target by the door then enter. The next room has two Wolfos and two White Wolfos. When those are all gone, a treasure chest with arrows will appear. Take that the supposed door is a fake and that the block is too big for you to move. Now, take out your Lens of Truth and look above the fake door. There’s a hole in the wall. Longshot to the target then go in the door. The switch is for later on. In this room is a statue. Jump down on the circle around it and it will start to move. "Blind the eyes of the statue”! With fire arrows. –grin and nod- Aim for the eyes. You’ll know you got it when it glows dull red. When you get all three, the circle will stop moving and a treasure chest will appear. Inside is a key. Now…uh…drop into the lava. Oh, just do it! You’ll be back at the top by the door. Or, if you’ve figured out how to do the Scarecrow’s song thing with the scarecrows by Lake Hylia, do that. (Personally, I never figured that out.) Now, go in the door to the right. In here is another treasure chest with a key. Now go back to the main room, longshot to the target and go in the next room. In the next room are Torch Slugs, which normally bug me, but good for restocking your magic meter. Watch out, though, there’s also Fire Keese. Get rid of the Fire Keese first, then the Torch Slugs. When they’re all gone, the door will unbar and a treasure chest of arrows will appear. Kill all the happy face blocks with the Megaton Hammer. You’ll find a golden eye. Shot it, and open the door you came from. Beneath other blocks is a switch. Step in the switch and it extinguishes the fire in the middle of the room. Get the key out of the treasure chest before the fire comes back. Then go through to the next room. In here are more silver rupees. To get the one in front of you, walk forward then look over the entrance. Longshot to the target, grabbing the rupees on the way. Then drop down to the pillar with the next rupee. Don’t try to jump to the other rupees, you won’t make it. Longshot to the torch, then jump from there. Then jump to the switch, this gets rid of the fire surrounding the last rupee. Employ your hover boots to get to it. Now play the Song of Time. Some Blocks of Time will appear. Climb them to get a key on the platform. Now go in the door across from you that was unbarred when you got all the rupees. Play the Song of Time again and the Blocks of Time will transport, revealing a hole of water. Put on your Zora Tunic, jump in, then put your iron boots on. You get to collect all the silver rupees UNDERWATER. YAY! -_- Or not. Beware the spiky thing going in a circle in the middle. There are also about four Shellblades down here! Kill all the Shellblades first. Walk to the rupee in the middle of the room. Three rupees can be gotten by lining yourself up appropriately with targets and longshoting. For the fourth rupee, go to the side of the room and take your iron boots off. You’ll float to the ceiling and be swept around the room. Just grab it as you go by. When you get it, swim to the middle of the room and get out of the water. Open the treasure chest to get another key, then go back to the lava room. Take the door to your left. In the next room, you have to defeat a Beamos and two Lizalfos in a minute and a half. Bomb the Beamos first, then get the Lizalfos. (Ya know, it’s really quick with the Biggoron Sword.) Get the key then go through the door. You’ll be back in the main room. In fact, you just came out of the lion’s mouth! LoL. Now go in the middle lion’s mouth. In this room is a BUNCH of locked doors. That’s okay, you’ve got a BUNCH of keys. Go to the left and just go through all the door that way. Along the way, you can pick up a purple and red rupees and a bundle of arrows from treasures chests. Then you’ll encounter a big chest. Open it to find Ice Arrows!! They work like Fire Arrows, except that they freeze things they shoot, not ignite them. Which…makes sense. Anyway, you’re done with the Gerudo Training Grounds for now. Go back out to Gerudo Fortress.
In front of the fortress is a large gate. There’s a long ladder to the right of the gate. Climb up it and talk to the Gerudo at the top. She’ll open the gate and tell you about the two trials you must pass before you can get to the Colossus. Climb down the ladder and go on to the Haunted Wasteland…
Go forward some between the two poles and you’ll come to a river. The first trial. This is easy, just longshot to a crate across the way. Then just walk from pole to pole. Sometimes the poles are hard to see. Use C-up to get a good look around and makes sure you see the next pole to go to before you continue. You’ll come to a place where you see a small brick building. Go in it and there’s a Gold Skulltula. If you REALLY need or want to, light the torches with Din’s Fire and a treasure chest with a purple rupee will pop up. Go to the top of the building and read the plaque. Then turn around and take out the Lens of Truth. You’ll see a Poe. He (she?) will be your guide the rest of the way. Hopefully you have a decent amount of magic power. If you need to, just tap the Lens button repeatedly. Don’t let the Poe out of your site for too long though, it does a lot of sharp turns. Eventually, you’ll end up at…the Desert Colossus….
At the Desert Colossus, there are a lot of Leevers, these green things that pop out of the ground and spin at you. They’re not really hard, all you have to do is hit them with your sword. They’re just really annoying. Look to the right. Between two palm trees is a crack in the wall. Bomb it and reveal the entrance to another Great Fairy Fountain. In here, the fairy will give you Nayru’s Love. It’s like a little shield that will protect you all around. But be careful, like she says, it’s only for a limited time. Now go back out. On the other side of the Colossus are three other palm trees. If you need (if you just want, it’s pretty cool), go over, stand on the stone by the hole, and play the Song of Storms. The hole will fill with water, making a little oasis, and some fairies will appear! Nifty, huh? Alright….now go into the Spirit Temple…
As you enter, be careful because both pots at the bottom of the stairs will fly at you. Just shield yourself. Now go up the stairs and to the left. You’ll see a hole there. But you’re an adult, remember? You can’t crawl in hole. And the block on the other side of the room is too big. Ha! Got you again! Thought you were gonna start on the Spirit Temple, didn’t ya? Didn’t ya!? Well, that’s okay. Go back outside.
Here you’ll encounter Sheik again. He’ll teach you the Requiem of Spirit. While he’s doing that, you’ll see Kaepora Gaepora again! Aw…haven’t seen him since you were a kid. After you learn the new song, you and Sheik will just look at each other for awhile. Then you try to get forward and Sheik backs away and disappears. Goldangit. So…let’s play the Prelude of Light and see what happens…
Back in the Temple of Time, drop your sword back into the Pedestal of Time. You’ll transform into a kid again. Now use the Requiem of Spirit to transport back to the Colossus. Remember? Before you couldn’t get there as a child. Couldn’t even get to Gerudo Fortress because the bridge was out and you didn’t have Epona. But now you can just warp there. So do so.
Look to the left of the entrance of the Temple. There’s a soft patch of dirt. If you have a Magic Beans, go ahead and plant it. Now go in the Temple.
Being aware of the flying pots again, go up the stairs and to the left. You’ll see a Gerudo by the hole! Talk to her. You have a few options of what to say to her. You can pick whatever you want, but eventually say “Nothing really.” Since you’re supposedly unoccupied at the moment, she asks you to do her a favor. To crawl through the hole, get the Silver Gauntlets, and bring them back to her. She’ll also tell you a little about her people and that the Spirit Temple is Ganondorf’s hideout. Niiiiiiiiiice, so you’re in the same building as Ganondorf as a kid! Lovely. But wait a second, she said she was Nabooru, didn’t she? Nabooru, Ganondorf’ second in command? Well, this IS seven years earlier, maybe something changes. Anyway, go ahead an crawl in the hole. In this room are two spiky things, two Fire Keese, two regular Keese on the wall, and an Armos. You can easily avoid the Armos, go ahead and kill the Keese. Then kill the Armos with some bombs. The doors will unbar themselves. Go in the left door. In this room, a Stalfos will drop down. He’s pretty easy, just have him walk over the edge. Then get rid of the Green Bubble with your Slingshot. (Get close to the edge so you can get him when he slows down, down there. Next, look across the gap, there’s a crystal thing. Hit it with your Boomerang and a fence will fall down, allowing you to cross. There’s flying pots on the other side! Go in the next door. In this room is an Anubis. It’s this mummy dog lookin ting that floats and spits fire at you. Not very cool, but it’s “vulnerable to fire.” See if you can lure it to near the next door, then hit the crystal thing. A column of fire will come up and kill Anubis. Or to save time, just use fire arrows or Din’s Fire on it. Once the Anubis is dead. The door will unbar so go on through. In the next room, Navi will warn you about Ceiling Masters. Those hands that drop down and grab you? Ugh, they’re unnerving. But just watch where you walk, if you see a shadow at your feet, gradually getting bigger…Run like heck. Anyway, to make the whole Ceiling Master thing even MORE fun, you also have to collect silver rupees. Just get the ones on the floor real quick (there’s one behind the torch) then climb up the fencing to get the last two. When you get all the silver rupees, a little walkway will fall down for you to walk across. Once you’re across the gap in the floor, you’re safe from Ceiling Masters. On this side of the fencing is a Hold Skulltula, use your Boomerang to get it. Now you have you light the torches. You can use a Deku Stick and the torch in the other part of the room, or you can use Din’s Fire. Either way, when the torches are lit, a treasure chest will appear. Get the key then go through the door. You’ll be back in the room where the Armos was. Just crawl through the hole between the doors. Break the boxes to get goodies then head through the door. In this room is a long wall with two Skullwalltulas. Make sure you get both of them before you climb. Then look back and down and there’s a Gold Skulltula. In this room, there’s this sun thing on the floor. On a ledge, there’s crystal. Near that, a Lizalfo will appear. (There’s also one by the door.) Get rid of him and hit the crystal. A treasure chest with Bombchus will pop up. Look near the top of the wall. There’s a crack. Line up your Bombchus so that it hits that crack. It may take a few times, but eventually, the rock will blow away and sunlight will enter. The light will land on the sun, making is happy apparently (it’s freakin creepy lookin to me) and the door will unbar. This next room is massive. By the door is a statue. Don’t worry, it’s a regular statue, it won’t come to life when you touch it. Push it over the edge. It will fall on a switch that will unbar the door above you. Go up the stairs and through the door. Next is just a small corridor, then the next door. In here are silver rupees, torches, Beamos, and spikies! Yay! :P First get rid of the Beamos, there’s three of them. Then get the silver rupees, there are five. Once you have all the silver rupees, the golden torch will light. Use that and a Deku Stick to light the rest of the torches, there are three. Once all the torches are lit, a treasure chest with a key will appear. By now, you’ve probably noticed some blocks, one of which has a sun on it. Push and pull that block so that the sun reaches the light coming from a window above. This will unbar the door. Next is a short corridor. There are pots with goodies and a Gold Skulltula over the door you came in through. This next room is not very nice…I hope you brought fairies. In this room you meet the Iron Knuckle. It’s the massive armored thing with a huge axe that it swings around at you. It will stay inactive until you go up to it and hit it with your sword. Z –target it and let it walk to you. It will lift up its axe to swing, when it does, back off and walk around behind him. He’ll get his axe stuck in the floor for a second, use this chance to hit him as many times as you safely can. Keep doing that. Be careful though, sometimes his axe won’t get stuck in the floor, he’ll just swing it back and forth. After awhile. He’ll get pissed off and start charging you. When he does this, just put a pillar between you and him (and a whole lot of room). When he gets to the pillar, he’ll slow down, and hit the pillar. From the pillar comes some hearts or something useful. After awhile, he’ll die and the door behind his chair will unbar. Go through it and you’ll see a passage to the outside. Go out and you’ll meet up with Kaepora Gaepora. He’ll tell you that you have fully matured as an adult (although at this point you’re a kid o_O). He’ll also tell you that to defeat the two witches that live in this temple, you have to turn their own power against them. Then he’ll fly away again... Don’t worry, he’ll be watching you….stalker owl. Anyway, to the left is a big chest. Open it to find the Silver Gauntlets! ~Cue the cinematic scene.~ You’ll hear someone calling for help. You look down and see two witches flying on broomsticks around Nabooru, who’s getting sucked into a hole of blackness. She’ll tell you to get out before she goes under, then the witches fly into the temple. Well, I would SO not want to be in the same building as them, especially if you call it a temple, so slide down the statue. HA! We get the Silver Gauntlets then! But you can’t wear them as a kid so Prelude yourself back to the Light Temple and grab that sword!
Now that you’re adult again, warp back to the Desert Colossus. If you planted a magic bean before, there’s a floaty plant in its stead. Hop on and it will take you around the top of two large rocks. If you take a ride on the plant at night, there’s a Gold Skulltula on the second one, jump off to get it. Then the plant will take you around the archway, on top is a piece of heart. Now, take my advice and stock up on fairies. And now that you have the Silver Gauntlets, you can pick up gray rocks. To the right of the Colossus is a gray rock. Under it is a grotto with Business Scrubs selling potions. Although you have free access to fairies, if you want you can by green potion for your magic meter. Now let’s head on back into the temple.
Now that you have the Silver Gauntlets and are adult, you can go to the right and push that massive block. Push it until it falls into the floor. In this room is a Beamos. Get rid of it then look at the ceiling. There’s a crystal. Shoot it with your Longshot, and it will unbar the doors. Go in the door to the left. In this room is a Wolfos. Kill it then stand on the Triforce symbol and play Zelda’s Lullaby. A big chest will appear on the pillar across the way. Longshot to it and get the compass. Then fall in the sandpit and crawl up the other wall. Go back to the room with the Beamos and go through the door to the right. In this room are silver rupees and a pit with big boulders rolling back and forth. To get the first rupee, jump off the ledge into the pit and in midair, hit your sword button. You should reach the rupee that way. Then there are rupees in the holes in the walls. Notice that there’s a Block of Time in one of the holes. Play the Song of Time to move it away. In this hole is a Gold Skulltula. Remember you’ll have to plat the Song of Time by the block to transport it back to get the last rupee. When you get all the rupees, the door will unbar so go on through. In this room is a treasure chest with a key in it and a Like Like. Get the key, kill the Like Like if you want then go back to the room with the Beamos. Unlock the door in the middle and go through. In this room are flying pots and a Like Like falls from the somewhere. Lovely. Kill the Like Like then climb up the long wall. (This side of the temple is very similar to the other side, structurally.) Be careful! In this room is an invisible Floormaster. Get rid of him and his little offspring quickly. Now turn your attention to the snake mirror in the middle of the room. If you push it so that the light reflects on the first sun, the sun will disappear and a treasure chest with heart filler appears. With the second sun, another treasure chest appears, but don’t open it. You’ll turn into an ice cube. –shrug- Where did THAT come from? Whatever. The third sun is the one you’re looking for, it unbars the door. The fourth sun sends a Ceiling Master at you. :P Go through the door and you’ll be in the big room with the big statue that you were in as a child. Be careful because the statue by this door is an Armos and will come to life if you touch it. Walk to the top of the stairs and you’ll find a locked door and yourself without a key. Look at the statue’s outstretched hand. There’s a Triforce symbol on it. Jump to it and play Zelda’s Lullaby. A treasure chest will appear in her other hand. Longshot to it and get the key. Also, look to the pillar against the left wall, there’s a Gold Skulltula. Then jump down. There are two torches in front of the statue. Light them and a big chest with the map in it will appear, Now go back to the door you came in through. There is a target on the ceiling above the door. Longshot up there and go through the locked door. Beyond the door is a short corridor, but it has a Beamos so be careful. In the next room are three Anubis and a Beamos. Kill all the bad guys and a door will unbar. Stepping on the switch will only bring up a pillar of fire for awhile. Go through the door and there will be four Armos. >_< In the middle of them is a blue switch, blue meaning that it will pop back up when you step off it. Okay, here’s what you do. Wake up one of the Armos and have him stand on the switch. Then run like heck to the door. In this next room…heh heh…is an Iron Knuckle! YAY! Or not. Just kill him like the first one. (The Biggoron sword helps.) When he’s gone, head out the door behind his chair. Go to the opening outside and a big chest will fall down. Inside is the Mirror Shield! Equip it and you can reflect light off it. Pretty nifty, huh? Now go back to the room with the four Armos. Notice a window and a sun. Get in the sunlight and shield yourself. Now move the shield so that it reflects in the sun. This will unbar the door. In the next room is a treasure chest with a key in it. Now go back to the room with the three Anubis and unlock the door there. Now this next room is interesting. First off, get rid of the two Beamos. Now take a look at the wall. You can climb it, but sections of the wall move. And on the edges are spikes. There’s also a Skullwalltula. So kill the spider, then time it right and climb up the wall. If you miss your chance, just jump down, don’t let the spikes get you. Watch out because at the top of the wall are two more Beamos. Just kill them and go through the door. Now in here is a Triforce symbol, a barred door, and a free door to the left. But don’t go in the door to the door to the left just yet. Stand on the Triforce symbol and play Zelda’s Lullaby, this will unbar the door. Go in and kill the four Torch Slugs. Take note that every supposed door is a fake that will fall when you touch it. But the door on the far wall the left is concealing a gold eye. Bomb it to get rid of it then shoot an arrow at the eye. This will make a platform under a target. Longshot to the target so that you land on that platform. Jump to the platform and step on the switch. This will stop the pillar of fire around the colorful chest… Open the chest and get the Boss Key! Yay! Now go out the door and go in the door to the right. There are two flying pots. There’s a crystal thing behind some bars, hit it and it will unbar a door. Go in, kill the Lizalfo, and look left. There’s a snake mirror and a sun above the doorway. Position yourself so that you can reflect from the mirror to the sun. A treasure chest with bombs will appear behind you. Now go into the room with the snake mirror. There are three White Bubbles in there. White Bubbles are like Blue or Green Bubbles except without the fire. Attack them when they stop moving. Then notice a part of the wall that bulges out. You can bomb it. Then move the mirror to shine into the hole. Through the hole is another snake mirror. Move THAT mirror to shine on the big mirror in the beginning part of the room. Go to that big mirror (being aware of the four flying pots down there) and shine light to the sun to the left. This will lower the platform you are on. You will end up right in front of the face of the big statue. Shine light on the face for awhile and it will crumble away. Longshot to the crating that is there. The crating will lift away, revealing the door to the Boss’ Lair…
In here you’ll encounter the two witches, Koume and Kotake. Then send what looks like a suped-up Iron Knuckle on you. Fight it like a regular Iron Knuckle. Except, instead of getting pissed and charging you, the armor will fall off the Iron Knuckle, revealing Nabooru! The witches had brainwashed her to get her to serve Ganondorf! She tries to get away, but the witches use their power on her and she disappears. Then the witches vanish. But the door behind the chair is unbarred so go on through. There’s a small corridor and beyond that, is a big room with a large platform. Climb up there then go to center. Those witches will manifest and threaten you with their fire and frost. May I introduce to you Twinrova, Sorceress Sisters, bosses of the Spirit Temple. First, they’re pretty easy. Except this is one of the few places on this game where you want to avoid Z-targeting. Get on one of the smaller platforms. They’ll start shooting these harmful charges at you. You will know which one is about ready to shoot because this circle thing will be in front of her. Shield yourself and her charge will reflect off your shield. Move your shield so that the charge hits the other witch. Since one is off fire and the other of frost, opposing elements will harm them. But see if, you have one of the Z-targeted, instead of moving your shield around, you yourself will walk around and you’re in danger of falling off the edge. That’s not cool, although you can just climb back up, the witches may get you off guard and harm you. After awhile of this, the witches will combine to make the actual Twinrova. Now, people find this easy too, but it’s not if you don’t know how to defeat them! (Like I was.) But this is how you do it. Sometimes she’ll throw fire charges at you, sometimes she’ll through frost charges at you. Get in the middle of the middle column. With Twinrova, your shield will absorb the charges instead of reflect them. If you absorb fire, avoid the frost. If you absorb the frost, avoid the ice. So Z-target her, stand in the middle, soak up a charge with your shield. If the next charge is the same, soak that up too. If it’s different, jump out of the way of the blast, far enough so it won’t hurt you when it spreads on the floor. After you’ve soak up three of the same charges, you’re shield will expel a charge of its own and Twinrova will go down. Now I prefer the Biggoron sword to speed things along. Since when Twinrova is down, un-Z-target her, equip the Biggoron sword, jump to the platform she landed on, and whack the tar outta her. After awhile, she’ll get back up. Go back to the middle of the big platform and Z-target her again. (If you want, you can keep the Biggoron sword equipped, but you have to make sure you put it away before you can shield yourself. To save time and effort, I just equip my Master Sword for when I’m soakin up charges and equip my Biggoron sword when I need to hit her.) After awhile of this, the witches will separate and devise another plan against you. Then they notice halos over their heads. Then they start fighting, typical sibling rivalry. Then they get sucked away to…heaven? Hm…dunno about that. Anyway, you’ve defeated Twinrova and saved the last temple! Get your heart and go into the light!
You will again be transported to the Chamber of Sages. Nabooru will reveal herself and the Sage of Spirit and give you the Spirit Medallion! You will be transported back to the Desert Colossus, but there’s someone waiting for you. So let’s get a move on!
