HORSEMANSHIP CLINIC: March 2nd and 3rd, Chris Cox Clinic at the Covered Arena (south gate) at the Ag Center this weekend. It starts Saturday-Sunday from 9:00 to 5:00. There is a $25 spectator fee. Some of our club members are scheduled to be in it. Learn More About Chris Cox
NEXT MEETING: FETLOC meeting is going to be on Sunday, March 10 at 7:00 pm at @ Fairview Christian Fellowship ( behind Fairview Library). We will start planning rides, ao bring any ride ideas you have.
GREENVILLE FOOTHILLS PONY CLUB SPRING HUNTER PACE & TRAIL RIDE: March 10th, 10 AM to 2PM, at the Greenville County Hounds Clubhouse (Turn off Hwy 11 or Hwy 14 at Gowensville onto Smith Road, then onto Pleasant Hill Road)
Divisions:
- Field Hunter: To be ridden at a good, but
safe hunting pace.
- Trail Rider/Hilltopper: To be ridden at a more moderate pace. All jumps optional
- Starting Times: Assigned when you check in with our starter Joey
- Awards: First through Sixth ribbons for each
division. Points count for the Western Carolina
Hunter Pace Series
- Attire: Casual. Protective headgear required,
unless waiver signed.
- Horse: Negative Coggins within one year required
- Entry Fees: $25.00 per horse/rider combination, $15.00 for children 12 and under when accompanied by parent $5.00 for any Pony Club member
All minors must have a parental release
- Refreshments: Lunch and drinks provided after ride ($5.00 for non-competitors)

NEXT RIDE: The Mountain Hope ride is going to be Saturday, March 16 at Camp Rockmount.

COGGINS CLINIC: A Coggins Clinic will be held on Sat. March 16, at Smith Farms from 9:30 am
to 1:30 pm. It is going to be sponsered by Cane Creek Clinic (on Cane Creek
Rd.). You can call Leigh Ann Hamon at 628-9088 for more details. The fees
are:
- Coggins: $15
- Rabies: $12
- 5-way: $21

Spring
NORTH CAROLINA T.R.E.C. COMPETITION: Camp Rockmont is hosting another T.R.E.C. competition! Don't let the word "competition" scare you...this is a FUN event that any trailrider would enjoy!!!! All Ages - All Breeds - All Levels. Entry Fee will be $55 for all non-members. This includes stalling for Friday and Saturday and competition fees. Also lunch will be offered Sunday for an extra cost of $5.00.
They will be offering 4 divisions; 1. Individual long course, 2. Pairs long course, 3. Individual short course, 4. Pairs short course. You may ride in teams of more than two, however they may only have ribbons for pairs.
Rental horses are available for $25 a day. Please let them know as soon as possible if you need a horse so they can find one most suitable for you.
There will be a cookout Saturday evening in the hayloft which all are welcome to attend including family members, donations will be accepted. There will also be a general TREC meeting held during dinner to inform everyone of upcoming events.
