| ISO/DIS 9001:2000, Clause 8.5.2 Corrective Action
| The organization shall take corrective action to eliminate the cause of nonconformities in order to prevent recurrence. Corrective action shall be appropriate to the impact of the problems encountered.
| The documented procedure for corrective action shall define requirements for:
| ) identifying nonconformities (including customer complaints);
| ) determining the cause of nonconformity;
| ) evaluating the need for actions to ensure that nonconformities do not recur;
| ) determining and implementing the corrective action needed;
| ) recording results of action taken;
| ) reviewing of corrective action taken.
