Cole Jr., was suspicious about the circumstances surrounding his son's death and was asking a lot of questions about it.  Finally on September 15th, 1983 he received a phone call from a woman who lived across the street from Kathy and was taking care of Kathy's three children:  Vernon Alfred Cole, Henry C. Cole 4th, and Crystal Marie Cole.  Mrs. Price was very worried as she found a lot of bruises on the girl Crystal Marie Cole and asked Henry C. Cole Jr., to come over.  She took pictures of the bruises and gave them to Henry C. Cole Jr. who in turn contacted a social worker by the name of Barbara Cochran with the Oklahoma Dept. of Human Services.  When investigated Kathy immediately accused Jessie Boone Wilson of the child beating where a warrant for his arrest was filed on September 28th 1983 and Kathy filed for divorce at about the same time period.
