~ In Nick's room ~
Lori tells Nick what happened. "Why... why my dad always hates whatever I do? I just wanna fulfil my dream and be with you Nick. What is it so hard for him to accept this? I don't wanna go home anymore..."
Nick goes out and comes back in a minute or so. "Lori... mom says it's okay for you to stay here tonight. Don't worry girl, I'm always here with you. Don't cry..." Nick then takes Lori's hand and put it on his chest. "See... whenever you cry, it hurts me inside, right here." Lori could feel Nick's heartbeat with her hand. Nick wipes away Lori's tears. "Why don't you take a rest now, you'll sleep here and I'll sleep in Aaron's room." Nick gives Lori one of his T-shirts and shorts to put on. He gives Lori a kiss on the forehand. "Goodnight Lori."
~ Next morning -- 7:00 am ~
The sun is so bright and it wakes Lori. Lori notices a 13-year-old boy, staring into the room with the door slightly open. Lori sits up. "Hi... come on in."
"Hi... I'm Aaron. Nick's youngest brother."
"I've heard a lot about you Aaron. Nice to meet you." Lori gives Aaron a really friendly smile.
Lori and Aaron are talking and playing around while Nick comes in.
"Good morning Lori, good morning bro!"
"Good morning Nick." they reply at the same time.
"Looks like my brother is getting more attention from my girlfriend than I do!" Nick then looks at Aaron and gives him a sign that he wanna talk to Lori alone. "See ya later Lori..." Aaron says as he walks out of Nick's room.
Nick sits himself down next to Lori. "Feeling better girl?"
"Yea... but I think I gotta go home and change."
"I'll go with you, but first, come down and meet my family, we'll have breakfast soon."
"Okay, let me get dressed."
"I'll see you downstairs."
Lori walks downstairs after she changed. She sees Bob Carter, Nick's dad, Jane, BJ & Leslie & Angel, Nick's sisters, Aaron and Nick sitting in the breakfast room.
"Good morning Mr. and Mrs. Carter, BJ, Leslie, Angel and Aaron."
"Dad, this is Lori."
"Wow... hi Lori... what a beautiful girlfriend my son has, nice pick Nick! And Lori, have a seat.""
They start breakfast. Nick's family seem to like Lori a lot. After breakfast, Nick drives Lori back to her house.
~ Lori's house -- 8:00 am ~
"Lori, where have you been the whole night? I'm so worry about you." Lori's mom says.
"I'm very sorry mom. I went to Nick's house. Nick is waiting for me outside, I just come back to change."
"Lori, tell Nick to come over for dinner tonight. Your dad won't be coming home til very late."
"Mom? Are you serious?"
"Yes dear. Let me meet your wonderful boyfriend."
"Thanks mom." Lori gives her a hug.
Lori goes back out 15 minutes later. "Nick, sorry for waiting."
"It's okay."
"Dad is not gonna be here tonight, mom invites you for dinner."
~ Lori's house -- 8:00 pm ~
Lori brings Nick to her house. Lori's mom comes out from the kitchen.
"Hi... Mrs. Lee. I'm Nick."
"Nice to meet you Nick. What a gorgeous young man. We'll have dinner really soon. Lori, show Nick around the house. Take your time Nick." She goes back to the kitchen.
"Lori, your mom is so nice."
"Yea... come with me, let me show you around."
