Lori shows Nick her room. Nick finds all the pictures Lori and he have taken in the past month on the wall right next to Lori's bed, and some framed on Lori's desk. Lori gives Nick her journal.
"Read this Nick." Nick sits himself next to Lori on her bed, and start reading the journal. There are around 40 entries, all about what things happening between them two since the day they met until now. Nick is really surprises at what Lori is doing.
"Lori, this is so sweet. I never expected that I'll find a girlfriend that sees me so important to her."
"Nick, coz you ARE very important to me." Nick gives Lori a hug and a passionate kiss.
Lori's mom knocks on the door and tells them it's time for dinner. They have a nice dinner. Lori's mom seems to like Nick a lot. After dinner, they set in the living room and talk. All of a sudden, Peter comes home, all three of them stand up, looking in shock.
"Peter? I thought you are not coming home til midnight..."
"Nah... they cancelled it." then he notices Nick. "What is this guy doing in my house?"
"hmm... Peter. I invited Nick for dinner." Lori's mom says.
"Lori! You really won't listen to me huh? I told you not to see him anymore! Now...you," he points to Nick "get out of my house!"
"Mr. Lee, I want to talk to you about this."
"Say whatever you want... I'm not gonna listen, but when you are done, leave right away!"
"Mr. Lee, maybe in your mind, no cops are good cops. I don't think I can change your point of view on that. But I just wanna tell you that Lori is very important to me. We don't play around with relationships. Lori and I love each other not because of what we are, but who we are." Nick hold up his and Lori's hand, "Look, here's the rings that prove it. I bought it. It is a kind of promise I gave to Lori. Although these are not engagement ring or marriage ring, they mean a lot to us, and I promise that I will get the other two for Lori someday, when we find it's the right time. So... please... Mr. Lee, I promise I will never hurt her."
"You better do what you've promised!" and Peter walks upstair.
"Mrs. Lee, I think it's time for me to go now, thanks for the dinner. Bye..." He gives her a hug.
Lori walks Nick out. They are holding hands, walking in the park.
"Nick, I cannot believe you say that to my dad, you surprises me!"
Nick looks into Lori's eyes, looking really serious. "I just want to tell him how important you are to me. I hope he understands."
"I'm lucky, I've picked a good boyfriend in my first, and hopefully my last relationship."
"Actually, Lori, I am always wondering why I am your first boyfriend..."
"I don't know... all I can tell you is that I have a very different feeling for you comparing to the other guys I know... I feel like I'm really committed to you and wanna be with you so badly."

A man in black walked into the bank and take out a gun. "Keep quiet and give me all the money, with the gun pointing to one of the counters, "faster!" Another bank officer secretly press the security button. The LAPD got the signal and arrive there as soon as possible.
Everybody with guns on their hand and surround the robber.
"You're being surrounded! Now, drop your gun!" Kevin shouts.
The robber won't listen. Instead he runs to Michelle, who happens to be the closest to him. Michelle drops her gun when struggling with the robber and feels another gun pointing toher head.
"Let me go..." the robber's voice shaking, "or I'll shoot her dead!"
"No! Calm down..." Kevin starts negotiating with him while Brian slowly moves towards the back of the robber. Brian is so eager to save Michelle. He is so worry about her. Brian finds the right time to save Michelle, he sees the robber tending to put his gun down while he listens to Kevin. Brian goes up to him and want to take him down. While struggling, the robber pushes Michelle to the bank counter, she hits her forehead on the counter and faints away immediately. Brian takes the robber down, hand him to Joe and runs towards Michelle. He holds her tightly in his arms. Michelle is send to the emergency room. Shs is unconscious. Kevin, Brian, Nick, Lori and Melissa are standing quietly outside the ER. Brian sits there with his head down. Suddenly he speaks out with tears in his eyes.
"It's all my fault. If I didn't go up to the robber like that, Michelle won't..." tears run down his face.
"It's not your fault Brian. It's just an accident!" Melissa says. But she cannot control her sadness. She cries. Kevin goes up to her and tells her not to worry, as Melissa cries harder, Kevin hold her in his arms.
Lori sees everybody crying and she cannot hold her tears anymore. Michelle has always be such a friend to her. Lori throws herself into Nick's arm and starts crying really hard. Nick holds her tightly, and kiss her on her forehead.
The "Emergency" sign light turns off. The doctor comes out from the ER and everybody rushes towards him.
"Doctor, how is she?"
