If you want to mate your featherdrakes, there's a few things you need to know. First of all, your featherdrake may only choose a mate once it has reached adulthood. Males may have 1 or 2 mates each and females can only clutch once. The only advantage to having a higher ranked featherdrake is that it can have a larger clutch (featherdrake ranks are listed in the info). Below is a chart.
The chart only applies to same-rank pairings. Cross-rank matings are unrestricted. This means that they may have anywhere from 3 to 14 eggs. If one parent is a special, they can have 3-15 eggs. If the special is a crystal, there will be a crystal in the clutch. If it is another type of special, there is a chance of one of the eggs being a special. Found a mate?
