All
of our mixing & main power equipment is
"Peavey"
one
of
the most trusted names in band and DJ
equipment.
Illustrated to the right is my
professional case that streamlines
components, for a sleek appearance!
Athough this is a professional
advertising picture, this case pictured is
exactly how mine looks-mixing board and CD
controller on top, CD player with voltage
regulator w/lights on bottom.
I use an
identical second case, when applicable, for my
karaoke machine, stage lighting controller, and
digital pre-amp with echo for
karaoke.

To the left is my
Peavey CS800X
amplifier. Peak output is 260 watts @ 8
ohms continuous power to the speakers.
I've never used even close to
that, but it's nice to have reserve
power for very large venues, if
needed. Also, the higher the watts rms rating,
the clearer the sound when being
used at LOWER
volume levels.
To the right
is my backup amp. A Gemini XG3000-200
watts per channel @ 8 ohms. Used also to
independently power the karaoke vocal
monitor. (pictured later) Singers can
hear themselves and the same thing that
the audience hears!
This is my
speaker system. They sound GREAT! Each
weighs 83 lbs. They are mounted on
tripod stands to get the sound OUT
there, above the audience to fill the
room/gym/backyard/reception
hall!
At left, the American
DJ Pro 300 Dual CD player, with +/-16%
Pitch
Bend. This makes the many dance songs
even
MORE danceable by increasing the tempo
upward as needed!
These are my subwoofers! 53lbs. apiece. They provide the "thump" or the "bottom" in the dance music. With my Peavey crossover, I can regulate how much or how little "thump" to provide, depending on the size of the function hall, or the type of function. (a wedding or anniversary party, etc.)
This is my Pioneer
Karaoke player. A very popular choice of player
among today's karaoke hosts. It's twin-tray
design always has the next singer's song
all loaded and cued up. Virtually no
down-time! Has built-in echo to give a
full effect, like singing perhaps in
Carnegie Hall!
At left, my $600 Shure Wireless Microphone system for karaoke, and speeches, such
as the best man at weddings.
Clear,
crisp vocals
without tangled, awkward cords. Gives you a
true feeling of
freedom!
To go with the wireless mic
is our Peavey floor monitor. Positioned
directly in front of the singer, it's
design is to be angled up toward the
vocalist. We used to have a problem at
times with the singer hearing themselves
when standing behind the main speakers
pointed toward the "house". This can be
frustrating for some. No more! Problem
solved. The floor monitor has it's
own volume control and can be
adjusted as needed,
independent of the
main speakers.
NICE!!!
