Victory!

restless faithless wandering soul
fooled by illusions of success and control
How can you point and laugh at me
for having faith and believing in what you cannot see?

You have your myths, let me have mine
We both have perspectives on the same design
I am simply aware, not arrogant
Not smarter or better, merely cognisant

Let us draw no lines between where we stand
We don't need those borders, that line in the sand
We are all people, and your conscience will say
diversity and acceptance is the only true way

But you have opinions and you need to fight
you need to prove that what you know is right.
To the victor go the spoils is that how you feel?
well what is a victory, imagined o real?

Because the greatest victory that comes to my mind
was the victory of jesus, on behalf of mankind
Can you win that way, to show me you are right?
I know that I can't so lets just not fight.
