Well, besides doing this monthly column, I’ve also agreed to take over the newsletter once more with Roy assisting on the “online” newsletter. But remember, I’m only the editor, and still want and need, your input!! Speaking of which... what would you like to see in the newsletter? Tech stuff, old magazine reprints, car show results, racing results, member profiles, Bayshore past history, news from other chapters?? Let me know!!
Tech Sessions will be back with a vengeance this month on March 30, gar-ron-teed!! I have a “front suspension kit”, and during the time between now & then, I’ll get a crossmember out of storage, strip and clean the parts and at the tech session, we’ll replace balljoints, tierod ends, and bushings and prepare it to be mounted in the Stinger. Never done one? Come and see how easy it actually is. We have discovered that the only way to have a tech session is to actually plan something to do. If you have a project that you’d like us to tackle, let me know. Otherwise I’ll plan something else for the Stinger or the Rampside next month....
Roy & I canceled our plans for Sebring as we were both low on funds and decided to better spend the effort getting the Stinger to Summit Point and the convention this year. Are you planning on going? Summit Point is only 90 miles from the convention this year in Carlisle, PA. I always try to get to an east coast convention.
The next general meeting is March 19th at the Chapter House.
