Now here is how a Corvette should be, ready to RACE!
A real Corvette.

Look up the definition of perfect weather in September and you'll find: see the Bayshore At Pocono event.
What a terrific day! It was nice and cool in the morning, a little light fog to burn off @8:30, and then beautiful sunshine and a light breeze the rest of the day.
Like many other years, there were a wide variety of cars and drivers entered in the field totaling 75 cars.
There were only six Corvairs. These six drivers & cars were:
        John Edgerton '64 Monza 140
Kevin Johnson '65 Corsa 180 turbo
Bob Marlow '64 500 140, (it was good to see Bob on the track with a Corvair)
Andrew Sarkozi '65 Corsa convertible 140
        Tim Schwartz '65 Monza 110
Terry Stafford '64 Spyder 180 turbo
As many of you know, Ken Klingaman's Yenko Stinger was badly damaged in a crash at Lime Rock this year, however, Ken came to lend a hand with driving instruction and general help and friendship.
Brian O'Neil's car was not "together" for the event as he was not able to spend time on the car due to work commitments. Somehow work always gets in the way of racing.
John Ryall had his 2 cylinder open wheel "ride" (instead of his Deserter Dune Buggy) which never got off the ground due to the fact that his engine would not run.
