Today is Wednesday March 12th and the temp’s were in the mid 50's. It’s starting to look like we might make it out the other side.
Our club has been rather lean in the “Corvairs on the road” department. Of course you don’t want to be driving them in the winter thru the salt and all (unless the body is beyond hope like mine) but now we can start getting them prepared for the spring and beyond.
The economic situation for many has put the Corvair priority on the low side. We can all take advantage of the fact that Bayshore Corvair has a scheduled tech session each month with our collective technical experience and manpower available for free. Try getting that from a dealer.
Our Pocono announcement cards have been sent out, advertisements have been booked, and we’re starting to get some response through the web site. Don’t forget that we have been sold out for the last several years, so if you plan on going, or have friends that are interested, don’t delay on registering.
I’ve been afraid to go over to the storage coops to see if there has been any damage from the snow and ice or from leaks due to the melt. It’s been pretty muddy too and we don’t need to get stuck there. Perhaps I’ll get over there this weekend to give a report to all.
Our 12th Annual Bayshore At Pocono event is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 6th, 2003. We continue to have our Pocono Meetings on the last Monday of each month at 7:45. The locations change month-to-month depending on the monthly host. Please contact me at 732-577-9133 or come to our next General meeting to learn more details.
Come to our general Bayshore meeting to get details on Pocono, the Tech sessions, and upcoming events. We need everyone’s input and help to keep our current events moving forward and to help create new fun events in which to get our Corvairs out and utilized. If it's gonna sit, why have it?
