* John & Buffy celebrated the Holdiay Season at a party at daughter Denise and Patrick's home.

The Whiting Family members gathered at daughter Denise & Patrick's for the Annual Christmas Party.   Thanks Denise & Patrick!

* John & Buffy celebrated Thanksgiving with members of Buffy's family.  It was a lot of fun.

Family members gathered at Buffy's sister Irene's for Thanksgiving.  It was another fun family event.  Thanks Lou and Irene!

* John & Buffy attended John's Verona High School class reunion on Saturday, October 24th.  It was a lot of fun.

* John got his third hole-in-one at Ballyowen Golf Club on Sunday, October 4, 2009 and scored a season low 77, but Buffy scored an 88 tying the match.

* Buffy and John spent the September 18th, 19th & 20th at Lake Placid Playing Golf With Friends & Family in the 1st Annual Lake Placid Invitational Golf Classic played at the beautiful Crown Plaza Spa & Golf Resort.  To view the results and player rankings of the 1st Annual LPIGC click HERE.

* Buffy and John spent the Labor Day weekend with Friends and Family.  More photos of golf at the Lazy Swan, the ball field and party to come shortly.

Thank you Mark & Erin for hosting the 2009 Labor Day Party.  As the photo documents, we all enjoyed it!

* Buffy and John celebrated their 26th Wedding Anniversary with their traditional golf round at the Ballyowen Golf Club.  They were joined by a new friend, Randy Weiner.  It was a fun day.

* Buffy and John are working on the writing of their 6th book, "The Search for the 50 Most Beautiful Golf Holes in New Jersey" a photojournalistic story based on visits to golf courses that have nominated their favorite golf holes.  The visits began with two of NJ's most respected golf courses.  To learn more about the book visit www.golfeventphotos.com.

* The Grand Kids joined us for the 2009 Summer Sleep Over witch included a swim at the Spa at Minerals, fishing at the HV Lake and a visit to the Sussex County Fair.  We had a blast (as usual).

* The 2009 14th Annual Poppa Lou Friends & Family Invitational Golf Classic was held on Saturday July 25th.  It was super!

This year's Poppa Lou was made even more special by a surprise celebration of the 20th Anniversary of the Blackhead Mountain Golf Club and the presentation of a 20th Anniversary Commerative Book featuring Franny's Guide to Playing Blackhead and photographs of the holes on the golf course.  To obtain a copy click HERE.
