Light of the Son

the Son beckons to over the tree tops rise
it’s trek through darkness overcomes
all the worries and fears
its glory comes as no surprise.


for when life drives us to our knees
when the heavy laden burdens
it is the Son who makes us strong
who takes our pain and sets us free


hurt and worry will be no more
and tears will cease to flow
Reign washes down upon us
faithfully opening every door


glory comes and all is clear
ways and paths can now be seen
the losers are set to win
believer’s grace and mercy near


keep your faith, hope and love
in all that comes to you
rise, like the Son, over it all
comfort and peace in Heaven above


darkness blinds and hinders sight
solid ground a shifting paradigm
truth and lies are hard to divide
except when in the Son’s Holy Light…….
