2017-2018 SÜPER LİG STRUCTURE

The league will be played by 18 clubs - 15 clubs finished last season in top 15 and 3 clubs promoted from 1. Lig.
The clubs play each other twice in the league - one at home and one away.
The wins are awarded with 3, the draws with 1, and the losses 0 points and the points are accumulated until the end of the league.
The top point getter becomes the league champion and the three lowest point getting clubs are relegated to 1. Lig.

Tie-breaker rules for all Professional Leagues:
1 - Points accumulated
2 - Head-to-head points - points gained in the matches tying clubs played each other
3 - Head-to-head goal difference - goal difference in the matches tying clubs played each other (away goals doesn't give any extra advantages)
4 - Head-to-head goals scored for - number of goals scored in the matches tying clubs played each other
5 - Overall goal difference (away goals doesn't give any extra advantages)
6 - Overall goals scored for
7 - Less number of awarded games against
8 - Play-off match(es)
Note: TFF applies the rules 2,3, and 4 at the end of the season

Qualification to UEFA Cups:
UCL
Top two clubs qualify to UEFA Champions League - the champion will start at Group Stage. The second place club will start at Second Qualifying Round of League Route. (If UEFA Cup Winner qualifies directly to the UCL-Group Stage next year, the second placed club will start at Third Qualifying Round.)
UEL
Three clubs qualify to UEFA Europa League - Turkish Cup winner and two clubs from the league. If the cup winner finishes the league at top two spots, the cup winner is replaced with a third club from the league.
The order of the UEL Cup qualifications: If Turkish Cup winner is to play at UEL, the club will start at Group Stage and the other two clubs will start at Third and Second Qualifying Rounds - the club better in the standings at Third Qualifying Round.
If all three clubs are from the league, they start from the Group Stage, Third Qualifying Round, and the Second Qualifying Round according to their positions at league standings.
