2004-2005 1.Super League Pool

RULES

This game is intended for fun only. It is FREE to play but there will be no no prizes.
You can just compete with your predicting ability against the others.
In this game you will simply guess the winners of 1.Super League games, if any.
There will be 34 rounds of games, played at weekends.
You can join even if you missed the beginning of the competition. The total points earned will be less, but still can compete with the proper guesses.

The Identification
You will be asked to enter a nickname, full name, e-mail address and the city you live.
The nickname and full name will be enough for the following weeks.
Full names will not be used in the standings. They will be used to identify the participants making the predictions, only.

Guessing
Simply type in 1 for home team win, 0 for a draw, and 2 for a visitor team win.

Joker:
Choose one of the game of the week as a joker to double your points for that game.

The Timing:
The guesses can be made any time before the start of a game. All the guesses are stored with a date and time stamp you send it in. So any guess made after the start of a game will ve accepted as void. However, if you missed to send in your predictions before the Friday game, you can still predict the Saturday or Sunday games, since they will be valid if the predictions were sent in before they start.

After sending your predictions early in the week, you may still change your predictions before the start of the games. If you have guessed a game more than once during the week, the latest predictions will be accepted.

Postponed Games:
The rescheduled games will re-appear in the entry of the week they are rescheduled to play. If you have already predict the first game and do not wish to change your prediction, you don't have to send in your prediction for that game again.

How the Points are Awarded
1 - Guessing the home team win - 3 points
2 - Guessing the away team win - 4 point
3 - Guessing the draws - 5 points

Joker Games:
You will also choose one of the game of the week as a joker to double your points for that game. If your guess is correct, then the points awarded to that game will be doubled. That is a home game win will be 6, away game win will be 8, draws 10 points for your best guess.

The Rankings
There will be several standings throughout the competition. An overall standing and standings for each city fans (in case there are 10 or more players from a city).
The standings page will be updated after the last game played on matchdays.

Notification Service
The weekly pool results will be sent to the participants with an e-mail every Wednesday. This will also may serve to remind you to send your predictions for the coming week. If you wish to receive these e-mails, please fill in the "Notify me" box in the entry page. If you wish not to receive these e-mails, you may discontinue them by filling in the "Stop Notifying" box later on.
