FORMAT

The cup format has three different formats at three different stages.
One game elimination format
The cup starts with this format - Preliminary Round, Rounds 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 are playedin this format.
Group stage
Round 6 will be played in two groups with league format on home-away games basis.
Double-legged knock-out format
Semi Finals will be played in this format.
One game elimination format again
Final will be played in the first format used. The only difference is that the venue will be a neutral venue.

PARTICIPATION

Preliminary Round
This round is played by the amateur clubs of the provinces with no clubs at professional leagues.
31 clubs eligible - 26 to proceed to Round 1.
10 clubs from the provinces with least number of registered clubs play each other.
Round 1
54 clubs of 3. Lig join the 24 proceeding clubs. Regional pairing is done.
40 clubs proceed to Round 2
Round 2
13 clubs of Süper Lig (the clubs not playing at UEFA Club Competitions), 19 clubs of 1. Lig, and 36 clubs of 2. Lig join the 40 proceeding clubs. 54 clubs are seeded.
54 clubs proceed to Round 3.
Round 3
No clubs join at this round. 54 clubs pla each other. 27 clubs are seeded.
27 clubs proceed to Round 4.
Round 4
Remaining 5 clubs of Süper Lig join. 16 clubs are seeded. 16 clubs proceed to Round 5.
Round 5
16 clubs play each other. 8 clubs are seeded and 8 clubs proceed to Round 6.
Round 6 - Group Stage
This round is played in two groups. 4 clubs are seeded. 4 clubs proceed to Semi Finals.
Round 7 - Semi Finals
Group winners play the runner-up of other group for this round. They meet twice and the group winners play the first game away and and second game at home.
Round 8 - FINAL
The final will be played as one game at a neutral venue.

SEEDING SYSTEM

The clubs are ranked according to the leagues they play at 2013-2014.
Süper Lig, 1. Lig, 2. Lig, 3. Lig, and BAL.
If there are only one group at a league, the order is decided by the order of final tables of 2012-2013. If there are more than one group at any league. The order is decided first by the finishing positions then the points accumulated at 2012-2013.
According to the criteria given above 59 clubs will be seeded throughout the tournament. 54 seeded clubs at Round 2 and the 5 Süper Lig clubs to join later.
