 Fenerbahçe Spor Kulübü - İstanbul
Galatasaray made the double winning the league and the cup. However, TFF introduced a new rule. The clubs making the double would play the Başbakanlığı Kupası winners for the cup.
According to this new rule the game will be counted in the statistics for the Cumhurbaşkanlığı Kupası, but not in the Super Cup stats at this site. The Super Cup winner will be Galatasaray accordingly.

The Trophy for the Hasan Tahsin Monument
Even though this was a one time cup, the game holds the record for the crowd attendance in Turkey in a club competition. The game was played to raise money for the monument to be held in İzmir for Hasan Tahsin, a newsreporter who fired the first bullet to the enemies in the Turkish Indepence War in İzmir.
The game was played at İzmir Atatürk Stadium with 80,000 capacity. The tickets were all sold out.
