Other Bands

The Gravity might be the best band to come out of the South Plainfield music scene recently, but it's certainly not the only one. Hell, I, myself, am a part of at least four other bands (although, granted, a couple of them are pure crap). Here's a little something about various other bands that I am either in, like, or have some kind of connection with.

Rubber Soul

This is a two-man Beatles Cover Band consisting of myself and fellow The Gravity member Chris Murphy. We specialize in Beatles songs, preferably with lots of harmony, and we're pretty damn good. Here's a list of songs that we have performed:

With Mike Puterbaugh on drums:

Shabadoo

This is a band that is made up of myself, Murphy, fellow The Gravity member Mike Puterbaugh, and The Gravity's manager, Mike "Berg" Sanbeg. We are a pretty crappy a capella foursome that formed in the parking lot of Menlo Park Mall. We love to just sit around and make stuff up, though, cuz even though it's usually not very good, it's fun, and if people aren't open-minded enough to understand that, then screw'em. Here's a list of our songs:

Forty-Two

Click here to access the official homepage of Forty-Two, a band featuring Mark "Zippy" Zipkin and Patrick Quilty. They have been known by many, many other names, the best of which was The Diabetic, the Jew, and the Long-Haired Spoo. They are pretty cool, however if they change their name one more time, I'm going to kick their asses. You can download some of their shite off the mp3.com website.

Truck People

Refer to the Truck People Home Page for (in)complete information, lyrics, and other cool stuff.

The Burger Dodgers

This is another band that I'm in with Murphy and Puterbaugh, as well as Matt Ussia, Mark "Zippy" Zipkin, and possibly some other people that I can't remember right now. We performed at a party once and we were perhaps the main reason why no one was paying attention to the music that day. I don't remember what we performed, and it doesn't matter, because chances are, we'll never do it again.
