Well, here we are again....LOL! We loved Trevor so much last year that we had to make a second trip....LMAO! This event happened after John Brotherton's event (unlike last year where Trevor's was first - only it was before Forbes March's event....LOL)! Either way it was all good. :)
My friend and I went to get something to eat after John's event since we had some time until Trevor's. We found a place right accross the street from the hotel where we ate. I had a bagel and some pierre water. I also brought batteries as my batteries were running low on my camera. My friend had a small hot chocolate, but still wanted to wake up more so we noticed a starbucks accross the street from us where he got another hot chocolate (with whipped cream and extra chocolate syrup) and he got me a marshmellow rice krispy bar (which was really good! It almost tasted like ice cream). We went back to the hotel and hung out in the lobby for awhile until it was time for us to go back to the 16th floor.
Ha, guess what? We were at the same table as John's event....LOL! Not only did we have the same table (table two), but we were in the same exact seats. How funny is that? LMAO!
Trevor came on and said to everyone, just like he did last year, "I see a lot of familiar faces, but if I ask your name don't get offended because I'm really bad at names. I can't remember mine half the time!" LOL!
At first, there seemed to be only one person asking questions but then some others got into the act. I guess they all needed some warming up first....LOL! There were questions about his son, his movie (directed by Dan Gautier (spelling?) [ex-Kevin Buchanan]), and someone asked how he liked working with Susan Haskell (Marty Saybrooke). He said he really enjoyed working with her. Speaking of Marty, someone asked him what was up with Todd and Marty and he was like "you tell me, you watch the show"....LOL! Another person mentioned that she does not want to see Todd and Blair back together and that she is tired of them - most of us agreed about that one. (I mean, come on folks, how many times are Todd and Blair going to get back together and divorce? It's old gang! Even Trevor agreed to that, and I believe Todd and Blair were mentioned last year and he also said he would like to see Todd move on away from Blair). Someone, of course, mentioned Renee Goldsberry and Evangeline. Trevor said that if Renee wanted to come back she would come back and if the writers wanted her back, they would bring her back (and we all know Renee is busy with "Rent" right now so her returning to the show is not likely. If you hadn't seen the musical, go see it before it ends September 7th!).
Someone asked if he ad-libs his lines a lot and he says that he pretty much sticks to the script. There may be a few strays from there, but not that much. Someone asked if his wife watched OLTL and he said that she only started watching recently. Another person asked if his son recognized him on TV and he said yes. His son (Aiden I believe) is 16 months old. That's so cute! He also told a lovely story about how he met his wife through annoymous poetry. That's so romantic! :)
And, of course, "Dirty Sexy Money" was mentioned. Someone wanted to know if he was going to appear again in flashback scenes. Trevor said he wasn't sure, but he wouldn't have any problems with that if they asked him again.
Another person mentioned that they preferred him over Roger Howorath (the original Todd Manning) and we all agreed on that one. I, personally, was never a Roger Howorath fan. I will seriously stop watching OLTL if Trevor leaves and Roger returns. I can't see anyone but Trevor St. John playing Todd.
When he came around to our table, he asked us what was happening. I said, "same stuff, different day"....LOL! I asked him if he ever thought that he would be playing Todd because he originally came on as Walker Laurence. He said that he had no idea and knew nothing about Todd. I talked to him about him writing songs. He said that he does write music. That's when my friend jumped in and said that I, recently, graduated with a BA in music. Trevor was like "Really? From what college?" I told him Kean University. He asked me what my major was and I said I was a voice major. He wanted to know what I sung. I told him that I was trained in classical singing, but I can sing anything from rock to pop to R&B, you name it....LOL! He asked, "do you have perfect pitch?" I said, "yes, and people would ask me in school what the chords and notes were. Sometimes they would play clusters of notes and would ask me what notes they were"....LMAO! My friend jumped in and said that he had perfect pitch too, and that he's a guitar major. He told Trevor about his gigs he has every Saturday night. Trevor asked me if I ever sung with his band and I said, "we're working on it". I told him that I'm going to have him teach me how to play the guitar because I have two guitars at home and all I can play is an E minor chord....LOL! My friend told me that he did show me an A major chord, but I told him I forgot it....LMAO!
When Trevor went to sign the photo I brought, he was like "oh this is the new one". I said, "yep!" He asked me what my name was and when I told him, he was like, "that's a pretty name. I love that name." I said, "thank you." He also remembered us from last year. He was like, "you two were here last year" and we said "yes we were". I said to him told him that we were going to the OLTL Luncheon tomorrow and that we'll see him there. He said "I will be there." I asked him if he could sign the OLTL Trivia Book I had and then he was like "is this the new one?" I said, "yes". He said, "does it mention Todd in here?" And he started flipping through the book, and the first page he gets to is a picture of Todd during the execution scene. How funny was that? LOL! I told him that I had just gotten the book recently, so I haven't gone through all of it; but it does mention Roger Howorath and how Trevor came into play after Roger left. He signed my book, and then I asked him if I could have a picture with him. He said, "sure!" You see why I love Trevor? He is so awesome. I can't wait to see him tomorrow! :)
Kristen Alderson (Starr Manning) made a surprise visit to his event. We all took our cameras and started shooting. She was having an event later on that evening, so she decided to stop on by to say hi to everyone. Trevor was joking around and said "stand in line" to everyone who wanted to take pics and then he was like "does anyone have any questions?" One person asked Kristen about Todd and Starr's relationship. If it can ever be repaired? (Trevor was asked the same question earlier.) She said that she thinks it could be, but it's going to take a long time and then mentioned something about Cole and VooDoo dolls....LOL!
It was funny that she showed up because my friend and I were talking about the luncheon and how she was going to be there. As soon as we mentioned that, we hear clapping. We turn around to see what was the clapping for and, I will admit, I did not recognize Kristen at first. I was like "who's that girl hugging Trevor and why is everyone clapping for her?" Then, after about a minute, I realized "that's Kristen Alderson!" She looked so different, but she looked great! That was hilrarious how she showed up as soon as we mentioned her. :)
Here's another reason why I love Trevor. There were two people who came in late and totally missed the entire event. However, Trevor made sure he stayed to talk to them. He signed autographs, took a picture with them, and even took them to a private table so they could have some one-on-one time with him (two-on-one in this case....LOL!). That's fan dedication for you right there! :)
Well another great way to end the day. It started this morning with John and ended with Trevor. You can't get any better than that, and best of all I am seeing them both at the luncheon again tomorrow!!
