So I see the little ABC blurb at the bottom of my screen. “Washington polls close; Kerry to win primary”. Who the fuck cares at this point. I’ll be the first to admit the whole Dean freakout and shit was hilarious and watching him still think he was the big dog after the Iowa Caucuses.
This is going to be my first Presidential Election where I can vote and I’m really considering just writing myself in. Bush, though I like his style on the war, is an idiot and wants the Mexicans to come up and work. Democrats are… well, democrats. It just seems that whichever way I look, I’m being screwed. One side is pro-minority… I’m a white male. One side is big business… I’m not rich. Where the hell are the normal people?! The ones that use sense and reasoning to get problems solved. Too much spending, cut pork-barrel and special programs for small minority groups. Tax breaks? Sure, but let the working class get the biggest cut for a change, or give the working class the fucking Rich’s shares.
I’m voting me or Colin Quinn in for President. Am I disenfranchised? No, but I am pissed. I’m sick of getting pissed on by every political party while Mexicans and the Rich are catered to. Fuck everyone else.
Now that that is out of the way, I feel better.
