Society:
As the most enduring Arabian Horse Breeder's
Organization, The Pyramid Society is world renowned for its
dedication and efforts to promote those rare and treasured Arabian
Horses whose bloodlines trace back to the deserts of Egypt and Arabia.
The Pyramid
Society was founded in 1969 by a few insightful and devoted
Arabian Horse Breeders within North America, who were determined to
protect the heritage of the Egyptian Arabian Horse.

Federation: Formerly the American Horse Shows Association. If you plan to show your
Arabian Horse
at breed shows, you need to be a member of this organization to compete
at most events.

The
Registry:
Arabian Horse Association - AHA This is a
service for Arabian Horse Breeders which verifies and maintains records on all
purebred Arabian Horses in the USA and Mexico. The Registry
runs the Data Source service
which lists almost all the registered Arabian Horses in most of the
world, their owners, their progeny and their ownership history. The
registry also offers other services for members.

The Registry
combined with
International Arabian Horse Association
have become the newly named
Arabian Horse Association
.

was the composite of all the Arabian Horse Clubs in the USA that promoted the Arabian Horse to the public. Membership in a
local club included
membership in the International Arabian Horse Association, also
recognized as the IAHA. IAHA
Maintained the registries of Half-Arabian Horses and Anglo-Arabian
Horses. The IAHA oversaw
Arabian Horse Shows and ran several awards programs. IAHA
has become the
Arabian Horse Association
All these services are now offered by the
AHA: over
400 Competitions for Arabian Horses, Half-Arabian Horses and
Anglo-Arabian Horses, from grassroots schooling shows to
national championships and distance rides. The
Arabian Horse Association runs three National shows every year:
Youth National for exhibitors 18 and under, Sport Horse Nationals for
dressage, hunters and jumpers, and the original Nationals for halter,
pleasure and working western horses.

The Mid-Atlantic
Arabian Horse Association. The MAAHA is a local
Arabian horse association in NJ. Through this program, members:
- To devote the collective interest of the Mid-Atlantic Arabian Horse
breeders and admirers toward the improvement of the breeding and
training of Arabian horses.
- To provide facilities for gathering together for exchanging ideas
pertaining to Arabian horses.
- To promote and manage exhibits and shows for the education of those
interested.

Ann Dorsett, serves as the
Mid-Atlantic Arabian Horse Association's Chairperson for the Horse
Placement Project. A group of members assist the SPCA in finding homes
for confiscated neglected or abused Arabian and part Arabian Horses
... and sometimes other breeds in need, too!

Al Khamsa:
is a non-profit organization devoted to the preservation of the horse
of Bedouin Arabian, as recognized by Al Khamsa, through education and
research in a non-competitive social climate which draws admirers of such
horses together with the interest of fitting the Bedouin horse into
western life.
The Al Khamsa Organization is considered the reference
source for horses trace in all lines to the desert.
