EKG Diagnostic Criteria |
Atrial
Fibrillation
- No P waves
- No flutter
waves
- Atrial activity
is either absent or is chaotic both in amplitude and in rate
- The QRS complexes
have the form which is usual for the subject and lead (ie if they
had RBBB before they still have it)
- The R-R interval
is variable. During a given period of observation a maximum and
a minimum R-R interval will be observed and with in these extremes
the R-R interval will be unpredictable
