Toby on Stage:
With his television show 'Body and Soul' reportedly not renewed for a second season, Toby is taking his acting skills to a new level. He will appear in the stage spectacular 'Cabaret' oppostie singing sensation Tina Arena and 'Stingers' star Ian Stenlake. He has been cast as the flamboyant Emcee ..sporting heavy make-up, white body-wash and glittery nipples. The show will premiere in Sydney on April 19th, will head to Melbourne around November [where Tina Arena's role will be played by Lisa McCune] and early next year, it will head to Adelaide. For more infomation visit www.cabaret.com.au.
On the Road Again:
We're more than half way through the Regional extension on the 'Here and Now' Tour and there have been nothing but rave reviews from the twenty-four venues already graced with the show. If you caught the arena version of the tour, you'll be happy to know that the current tour includes most of the stage show, with the noted exception of 'House of Cards'. One of only a few non-released songs to be performed during the 90 minutes. The tour has four dates remaining around New South Wales, after which it will travel to Melbourne for four shows next weekend. For tour dates click here.

Body + Soul finale:
This Thursday's episode marks the final in this series of Toby's lifestyle program 'Body + Soul'. It is not yet known whether the show will be returning. After debuting at the top of the ratings, largely due to the show's celebrity cast, the show has petered out in the ratings race.
Regionals:
With the capital city leg of the Here and Now National Tour now out of the way, Human Nature are preparing for a huge regional tour. The dates for QLD, NT, NSW and VIC have already been released [you can review them here] Human Nature have stated that they are keen to also tour WA and SA with the tour and are current securing locations to be announced shortly.

Here And Now Tour A Success:
Reports from those who have seen the 'Here and Now Tour' as it made it's way through Newcastle, Canberra, Brisbane, Perth and Sydney, have hailed it a success. Without giving away any details, those who have attended the show have had nothing but rave reviews for the guys' performance. Fans in Melbourne, Hobart and Adelaide still await the arrive of the Tour in the next few weeks ...dates can be found on this site's title page.
Regional Tour Dates:
As promised, the Hear and Now touring, currently touring Capital Cities, is heading to regional areas of the country soon. click here for the dates.
Fan Club Collapse:
The most recent attempt at the Official Human Nature Fan Club has collapsed. In something resembling Ansett's recent struggle to remain afloat, the Human Nature fan club has changed hands several times over the last few years. Although details of a new fanclub have not yet been issued, plans are being made to get it up and running again. Watch this space for more.

FEBRUARY 3RD:

Extra Shows:
More dates have been added to the coming tour. As previously announced March 9th has been added in Sydney, as well as March 10 in Newcastle and March 13th in Melbourne. Although sale information on these concerts is not yet avaiable on official websites, it is believed that Newcastle tickets go on sale tomorrow, Monday February 4th at 9am, and Melbourne next Friday, February 8th at 9am. Sydney's second show is reportedly already selling.
Body + Soul:
Anyone reading today's Sunday Herald-Sun [and affiliates] 'Body + Soul' would have seen not only an introductory article to the team [including our Toby Allen, Paul Mercurio, Karina Brown and Erika Haynatz] but also an article about laughter as therapy which details one of Toby's coming stories on the show which debuts this Thursday night at 8pm on Channel 9.
Rumours To Rest:
In a recent interview with TV Week Toby put to rest concern that Human Nature's future is in trouble. With the realease of a 'Best Of' album and Toby's addition to channel 9's 'body + soul' there has been talk of a split. Toby says the members are simply trying new things. Andrew and Michael are focusing on enhancing their songwriting, Phil is developing his own publishing company and Toby is branching into Television. He assures that all four guys are as dedicated to Human Nature as ever.

JANUARY 25TH:

Body and Soul:
Toby will appear on Channel 9's new 'Body and Soul' on Thursday February 7th from 9.30pm. The show is taken from an extract available with The Herald-Sun chain of newspapers and is a fitness/lifestyle program.
Tour 2002:
An extra Sydney show has been added to Human Nature's Tour 2002. Tickets are now on sale for a show on Saturday March 9th at the State Theatre in Sydney. There is also a strong chance Melbourne will announce a second show soon. No news on that yet.
Tour Format:
Tour 2002's main focus will be the strong songs of the last six years. Mainly those included on the 'Here and Now; the Best of' album. With the possible addition of some new tracks the concert promises to be a knock-out.

JANUARY 16TH:

Body and Soul:
Toby will appear on Channel 9 on February 11th co-hosting a television program called 'Body and Soul'. The show is based on an extract from the Herald Sun [and affiliates] also titled 'Body and Soul'. The time of airing is not known so watch your tv guides.
Birthday Boy:
The only other news on the Human Nature front before the band gets back into work after New Year, is that Friday the 18th of January is Michael's 25th birthday. As the 'baby' of the group Mike is the last of the four to reach this milestone-age :) HAPPY BIRTHDAY MIKE!! :)
