~ Could God have ~
Could God have stopped this awful terror,
If He did not was that His error.
We know the answer's in our hearts
Humbly now the praying starts.
We could have been upon our knees,
And asked the Master would you please,
Heal our land and make us free
From all the bad, the terrony.
We chose to make it on our own, Another person we can clone..
Was that what man was created for,
To do God's work and Him ignore.
You see He is a Mighty God,
Forgiving us where err we trod. But we must fall upon our face, Seek HIM and then we have his GRACE.
Our country said "We don't need you now",
"We know whats right and we know HOW."
We left His grace at heaven's door,
And now we wonder about our core.
Will he forgive and heal this land,
Of course He will, just take His hand.
It is for us a wakeup call
And we can heed or we can fall.
He gave us "will" that we can use,
And be a fool, His words refuse.
He loves us now, He always will,
It's up to us for HE is real.
