My first question was: "What is this Thanksgiving for me?" I laid the Runes in a straight line, from left to right. The Runes that I drew were:
1. Kano I interpreted the Runes as follows: What is this Thanksgiving for me? Kano is the Rune of renewed clarity. For me, personally, this Thanksgiving celebration will bring some form of clarity into my life. This is a Rune that speaks of clear intent and of a serious nature. Awareness in all areas of your life is experiencing a quickening. Know who you are, and what your place in the universe is meant to be. How can I find peace this Thanksgiving? Hagalz is a Rune of elemental powers, and of disruption. When we disrupt things we can free ourselves and bring in change. The disruption here is a positive force in my life. Quite interestign when you realize that Hagalz has no reversed position, and yet when it enters your life, things are "reversed", or turned upside down. This is a time of connecting with my inner strength, and a time of great personal growth. What do I need to carry into the new year? Fehu appears in it's reversed position here. Fehu is a Rune of fulfillment, of ambition and wordly goods received. Ine way to interpret Fehu reversed is to say that there will be shortcomings, that I will not reach my goals, that there are frustrating times ahead. I see this in a different way. I see obstacles to my ambition, and to fulfilling my goals only if I do not pay attention. If I am clear on what I want, and where I am headed, I will see this correct path towards achievement and growth. I am going to leave these three Runes with my Thanksgiving centerpiece, where I will see them on a daily basis, and have a chance to work with and learn from them. The Runes are a tool - use them wisely. Thank you for visiting my Rune pages. May your day be Blessed.
