Energy Mapping on the Four Pathways
The Crossing Press 2005 ISBN #1-58091-161-7 Our energy system is the gateway between our physical and spiritual worlds. The flow of energy throughout this system is regulated by energy centers called Chakra's. In placing the intent to heal our chakra's, we automatically place the intent to heal on all levels: physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual. In Advanced Chakra Healing, Cyndi Dale works within a system she terms the "Four Pathways". Dale begins by discussing the traditional medical paradigm - looking for symptoms, tracing the origin of the symptoms, then treating the origin. Bottom line - look for the broken physical part. She then discusses the limitations inherent in each of the traditional healing modalities: mind/body, healing by feeling, and soul/spirit healing. Against this background, Dale introduces concept of the Four Pathways, a system that focuses on healing the whole self by making simple changes. These simple changes increase each individuals effectiveness at bringing healing to themselves. The Four Pathways are the four levels of human awareness. Each level contains its own methods for creating and making change. Simply defined, the levels are:
* The Elemental Pathway - material reality Since all four pathways interact, change in one pathway is reflected as change in all of the pathways. It is through the chakra's that we access the Four Pathways, and it is through the chakra's that we bring about change. Dale has developed a system that she calls "energy mapping", that functions to help us to:
* activate the chakra's as doorways It is through the use of our intuition that we identify the pathway that is open to healing. When accessing the elemental pathway, one the most accessible pathways, we work through what Dale terms "energetic marksmanship". You psychically look for malformation, and the cause of the problems, using the energy of t he elemental pathway to clear the causes of the problems and change the structure of a problem. The second pathway that is readily available through the human energy system is the power pathway. Working through the chakra's, you then have access to the seals, the power doors, and other power energy bodies. Through this pathway you can command the forces, powers, and energies that create substantial, authoritative change. The imagination pathway moves away from the concept of attachment into the concept of detachment. With detachment you accomplish by doing nothing. By using our imagination, we can visualize new realities. With the divine pathway, we are working with the concept of awakened perception. Dale defines the energy bodies on the divine pathway as the body of the eternal, the body of the infinite, the seven bowls of existence and the seven lamps. To work with this pathway, you must allow yourself to identify with the divine. You allow yourself to become illuminated with understanding. A significant part of this book covers the basic concept of energy, and the way in which it functions. Covered are intensity, motion, and the four main speeds of energy necessary for healing purposes (slower than the speed of light, faster than the speed of light, zero point and stillness). Dale discusses how speed functions within each of the four pathways. Dale also covers the different types of consciousness on the four pathways: Elemental consciousness (awareness of self and one's own strengths); Power consciousness (awareness of powers outside of self); Imagination consciousness (awareness of the void); Divine consciousness (awareness of the All). Dale presents a fairly in-depth chapter on life Energies and the Kundalini - on protons (particles carrying a positive charge), electrons (particles carrying a negative charge), and neutrons (particles carrying neutral charges). The different pathways work with the three particle types in different manners, which acts as the basis for "how" they heal. There is also a short discussion of Kundalini energy as it applies to the Four Pathways. The different methods for communicating energy is also addressed: sensory communication, psychic communication, intuitive communication, phantasmal communication, and spiritual communication. The language of communication is also discussed: the language of matter, the language of feeling, the language of heart, the language of light, the language of shadow, and the language of unity. Dale defines the ten basic elements on the elemental pathway as: Fire, Air, Water, Earth, Metal, Wood, Stone, Ether, Light, and Star. An important part of working with energy is recognizing the source of that energy. Dale covers beings of the underworld, beings of the fairy realm, elemental beings, beings of the earth, beings of the stars, angels, and other spiritual sources. The Four Pathways are compared as to energy particles and charges, Life Energy and Kundalini, energetic communication methods, energy languages, energy bodies, energy packages, forms of energy, times and places, energy laws, energy shapes, spin and energy, and sourcing. From here Dale moves into the major energy bodies on each of the pathways, and the chakra system. One of the energy body systems is that of seals. Dale defines the individual chakras and their associated seals as follows:
Chakra One: Physical; Seal: sets spiritual into matter In the beginning of her chapter on energy mapping tools, Dale presents a quiz that helps the reader determine what their strongest psychic gifts are (and we all have them!). She discusses the principle psychic styles (the physical kinesthetic style, the spiritual kinesthetic style, the visual style, and the verbal style). She also presents five steps for safely using psychic energy. Advanced Chakra Healing is well researched and well written. Each section builds on the previous section, so that the very esoteric concepts are able to be assimilated on the mundane level (and worked with on the spiritual level). If you are serious about personal and spiritual growth, and have the intent to heal on all levels, this book presents an excellent template to work with. Prepare to honor the ability to heal yourself!
