My Interests in more detail: (run! now while you have a chance! or if you are a daring soul, or just to damn curious for your own good, read on)
MILITARY HISTORY
I love history and especially military history. If you are a military history nut and want to share some infor or debate some point, email me and lets talk. I like Ancients, Colonial era, and World War II especially. I can also dabble in Napoleanics and ACW. I have hundreds of books of all kinds about these eras and a small number of magazines too. I also have a small collection of Video documentaries. Need to know about something, maybe I can help. I like Living history type reenactment stuff, though I haven't participated in any. I have been in correspondance with a few groups close to Nevada. I have some German, WWII stuff, but not all authentic. I wouldn't mind talking about reenacting with anyone interested in shooting the breeze on this subject.
WARGAMING:
I love tabletop wargaming with miniatures. Boardgaming is okay when there is no other alternative. Computer gaming has some really interesting stuff, but miniatures is the best. I started gaming with my buddy in High School, and though I haven't found anyone else interested in it for years, I never lost my love for it. I have books devoted to it, and lots of wargaming magazines, etc. I have a small collection of metal figures (15mm) mostly ancients (Punic wars) but they are not based to any standard rule set as I was the one who made up our rules. I have a small collection of 1/200 ancient vessels (triremes, quincremes, etc) and we used to wargame campaigns that enabled us to fight naval battles as well as land battles. I enjoy creating games. I also have a huge collection of 1/35th scale plastic figures and tanks (mostly Tamiya hobby models) that were meant for Skirmishing gaming at a platoon level (I have a full 1 to 1 scale platoon of Americans and Germans WWII Infantry, with a few extra squads of Panzer grenadiers, Waffen SS and Fallschirmjagers. I have a few tanks and SPW's too) For terrain I usually use cardboard scratchbuilt buildings and store bought trees. I have a large and varied assortment of HO scaled WWII infantry and vehicles as well for, say company or battalion level (depending on the rules and scale) games. I am interested also in WWI air dogfighting but only have two planes and haven't really developed any rules (was thinking of converting DAWN PATROL) They collect dust now in a storage container since I don't know anyone with an interest in this kind of gaming. I have been giving thoughts to running an email game of miniatures WWII skirmish level with players representing squad commanders. I would use the trusty ol' webcam to take a picture of the tabletop for each turn, then rely on emails for the player commands etc. Anyone have any thoughts on this? I am currently experimenting (using some of my work buddies, check out my 'FRIENDS & FAMILY' section) with a PBEM medeval style campaign game where my friends are battling for the Crown. I am the GM and have created the rules and the map. I may look into doing more of this in the future and posting for players. Check my site now and then for updates. I would like to get into creating computer games too, or at least submitting Ideas or hiring designers to create my Ideas. Anyone have information on this stuff? Hey! If anyone is visiting las vegas and wants to spend a few hours wargaming an Ancient Punic battle or WWII skirmishing, let me know via email and maybe we can set something up! I've downloaded some quick play type rules off of various websites and we could use some of these, just ask and I will send you a copy.
Here I will post wargame rules I write up as I get back into the hobby. Check them out and use them if you want. Let me know how they work for you.
Want to see a Wargaming AVI? Here is an animation I did for fun. Its called T34 1944! Watch it and enjoy.

Does anyone play the classic oriental game"GO"? I have always wanted to learn. I have found some online games, but someday I would like to sit and play a real opponant. Below is a link to an online go game you play against the server. Check it out.
PAINTBALL
I love paintball! But I don't play in any organized groups such as those tournament teams. For one thing, they are all high-tec and that is too expensive, and for another, it isn't any fun that way! Playing with friends just for the fun of it is the way to go. We all have the same kind of weopons and we all have fun. We (mostly people from work and their friends or family) go out into the desert and play simple elimination or attack and defend. It is fun, excilerating and good excercise. Lately I have been taping my Video camera to my helmet to try and catch some great stuff on tape. If I get something good I will post it here, so keep and eye out for it. Hey! if you are in the las vegas area and just want to go out into the bush and have some fun, let us know, we can set something up if possible and even loan you a gun or switch off. No teams though, thats not any fun.
TARGET SHOOTING
I love shooting rifles at tin cans or bottles or home made targets. Its best out in the open desert as I hate going into ranges. There was a time when I could just drive a few minutes out of town and pull of the road and start shooting, but now a days almost the whole valley is off limits. I have a map from the Wildlife Dept. that shows me where I can go shooting. If you like to go shooting sometime give me a holler. I have a WWII Webley revolver, and I am going to buy a Lee-enfield no. 4 or Mk III SMLE, or a Mauser Kar98k (to replace the one I sold a few years back). I even have an idea for targets which I may post up here one of these days, so keep an eye out for it.
My British enfield. My British .38 Webley revolver

FENCING
This is a great sport! It lets you get some of the thrill of physical combat without getting hurt. It is great for your co-ordination, confidence and general health. You can be any age and learn to fence. It is quite the workout. I took it for a year at UNLV (university las vegas, nevada) unfortunately I have had to drop it due to financial neccessities after my divorce. I am still a member of the USFA (United States Fencing Association) I trained Epee under Maestro Mark Berger. He is from Russia and trains the classical way, excercises to build strength and stamina, drills, drills, drills and free fights, every lesson. He is a former US Olympic coach. He teaches out of UNLV and has his own club at the Sporting House in Las Vegas. Anyone coming to Las Vegas want to fence some foil or Epee, let me know. I am always game if not rusty.
WRITING
I love to write movie scripts. With some more school I might even try some other types of fiction or even non-fiction (military interests) but its hard finding the time as a single parent. Here are some small samples of stuff I wrote if you want to look at them. You are welcome to send me some feedback on what you think. Thanks.
Day of the Tiger
This is a short script I wrote about World War II tanks in action. I'm thinking of making it into a graphic cartoon. Look for the online version one of these days.
ART INTERESTS
I love to draw and paint. I am currently doing animations with a small GIF animator program, but I need lots more practice. I also am thinking of trying to use the computer to help make an animated cartoon. I will practice with small AVI's first and if I can I will post them here. I love ancient art; Greek Vase paintings, Minoan and Eygptian frescoes, pre-colombian (Aztec, Incan, Mayan) paintings, etc. As I explore the computer more, be sure to check back for some samples that you can critique. Here is a lamp I painted and some of my other paintings.
I have begun to work on my SCA page. Check them out from time to time at your leisure, M'lords and Ladies. Please click here.
Okay, I guess thats all for now. As I mentioned before, I have lots of interests and one of them is Email penfriends, so all of you die hard Homepage critics out there are welcome to send your remarks to me. One last thing.....
