The Nederlands Ifa-Orisha Genootschap believes that:

* the cradle of all humankind is Africa;

* the ancient ancestors of all human beings now alive were Black Africans;

* the Ifa-Orisha religion might come pretty close to what may have been the 'original' religion of mankind;

* in pre-Christian times much "Africanness" was preserved in European traditions;

* some of these ancient memories of Africa still survive in Europe;

* the universe was created as, and hence shows the characteristics of, a synpolid;

* the signs of Odu Ifa, having both right and left legs, are partial mirrors of this synpolid;

* in these mirrors, through a process called divination, we may each view our personal destiny;

* this destiny is not a single path but a map, from which the best path may be chosen;

* the religion of Ifa-Orisha offers effective means to choose the optimum path;

* containing ancestral wisdom as well as folly, Ifa-Orisha should not be considered static;

* my belief is not better than yours, nor yours better than mine; we may both be wrong;

* all priests, including myself, must be presumed guilty until proven innocent;

* ninety percent of everything, including this website, is bullshit;

* it's the remaining ten percent that counts.
