Why Ride the Bus?
BFLO Transit riders may travel anywhere in the city of Buffalo, and Erie and
Niagara counties for a single cash fare. If your trip requires a transfer to
Metro bus or rail simply ask your driver for a free
transfer when you pay your fare. Transfers must be used
on date of issue and within the indicated time limit.
Reduced fare privileges are available for children, senior citizens, and other
people with restricted mobility. A photo identification card is required. Only
valid Erie-Niagara County Complimentary Card, Metro Reduced Fare Card or
Medicare card accepted. Passengers must present their identification card to the
driver every time they board, even if the driver recognizes you. Hold the card
steady, and allow the driver time to check it. Passengers who do not show a
valid identification card will be required to pay the full adult cash fare. In
case of dispute, passenger is required to pay fare and notify BFLO Transit of
the details in writing within five (5) days from the date of incident.
Exact fare is required: bus drivers do not carry or make change. Dollar bills, US coin and Metro tokens are all cheerfully accepted. Metro monthly Flash Passes are not valid for travel on BFLO Transit.
