2009 - New York Yankees are World Series Champions again! I am a HUGE New York Yankees fan and an even bigger Derek Jeter fan. I've seen Derek about 30 times now at Legends Field, Spring Training in Tampa and have gone to over 25 Yankee games in New York, Tampa, Lakeland, Winter Haven and St. Petersburg, Florida. Jeter has already accomplished more than most major leaguers, winning FIVE world series rings in fourteen seasons. In 2002, he set a career high with 32 stolen bases while finishing third in the Majors in runs with 124, fourth in at-bats with 644 and ninth in hits with 191. In 2000 Derek won MVP at the All-Star Game and MVP of the World Series in the same year. A few gold gloves in there too. Jeter was named the 11th Captain of the New York Yankees in June, 2003. Other than baseball, I enjoy scrapbooking, gardening, cooking, bible study with Mark, spending time with my pets, and have a great passion for photography.

We have two wonderful pets that keep us busy. Our dog Austin is our 10 year old American Eskimo. He is very spoiled and lives a comfy cozy life with us. We also have a sweet girl named Bella. She is a 3 month old parakeet. She is very beautiful and loves her cage and her new home.
