The Seely room contains memorabilia collected by Charles S. Seely. Charles Seely's grandfather, Carlton White Seely, came to Seneca Falls around 1825 and was President of the Town Council (mayor) around 1850. Carlton is said to be the first elected official of the Republican Party in the United States.
