Training Camp starts today and Patrick Ewing and Latrell Sprewell are not in attendance. Patrick Ewing will not return from his achilles tendon injury for a few weeks, and Latrell Sprewell is in court, again. Many qusetions await the Knicks this year...Will Ewing return at full strength and will he be a team player? Will John Wallace get the minutes he deserves? What is the starting lineup gonna be? Will the Knicks lock up Latrell Sprewell for the 7 year maximum? What about Marcus Camby, had great playoffs but what will his role be? Will Allan Houston break out and be the team leader or will it be Sprewell or Ewing? All these questions will be answered on November 2, when the Knicks open the 99-00 season at home against the Cleveland Cavaliers. I think the Knicks will have a terriffic regular season, at least 60 wins and win their first championship since the '70s...The Knicks released Herb Williams and signed 11 year veteran center Andrew Lang...The Knicks name Scott Layden the new GM...The Knicks sign John Wallace to a 3 year contract...The Knicks draft Frederic Weis but he will not play in the NBA this year.
