1987 Mazda RX7. Lowered by eibach and tokicos. Modified engine, double pulley removed all emissions restrictors. Stock motor. 85 GSL-SE trani. Racing beat exhaust and presilencer. MSD coil and box, 8mm wires. 15" motoforms. Custom decals. Working on a new project with a 94 setup. will update.
The Project 7 Conclusion....
Finally I had a chance to update this page. Well the project is completed but still going on to be even better later on. I fitted the 1993 motor in the 1987 shell and converted to single turbo. So far I have added the following to the project chick RX7: Turbonetics TD04 turbo and a Deltagate Mark III wastegate. 3 inch exhaust piping with a 3 inch catalytic converter. Twin flexalite elctric fans, Apexi 6 puck racing disc on a stock pressure plate at this time. Im running stock boost around 7-9psi average. Racing beat front/rear sway bars, posi rear, 1993 tranni, front strut tower brace from GREX. Full custom black interior with back seats. Brand new tokico shocks, and Eibach springs. Mazdatrix rear wing, racing graphics galore. Very fast car. I have beaten Mustangs, a 2001 corvette, a 1999 911 Porsche, other corvettes, and turbo hondas at the same boost currently and with 18" Konig Flights on. Will tune car on dyno soon at Rampage Racing in Woodside, NY and put stats at a later date. This project was worth it and the car is very impressive at this time with a stock motor and single turbo. Dynoed at 253Hp to wheels with 10psi of boost. Changed paint to WRX blue mica and Volk Racing Gold Edition wheels 10" rear and 8 1/2 front added Apexi Power FC engine management Commander. Dial a bomb greddy manual boost control. Happy with progress. Sold vehicle to start another chapter in my life
