Bonjour

I am so happy you stopped in to learn about me and my wonderful family. I have been married to my best friend for 32 years. Michael and I have four children of whom we are very proud. Our sons who are twins have just graduated from Boston Baptist College East in Boston, Massuchusetts. Seth is married. He and Pamela plan to be missionaries. While doing their internship Seth is working as our Youth Pastor. Sean is also working with us as our Praise and Worship Minister. Our oldest daughter Andrea also graduated from Boston Baptist College. She is also married she and her husband work for a church in the Boston area. and our youngest daugther,Kara, is in her fourth year at Boston. We are very thankful the Lord has chosen all of our kids to work full time in the ministry in one capacity or another.

My Husband is the pastor of Cornerstone Baptist Church here in the Middletown, New York. Then there's me! I love being a pastor's wife, mom, painting, antiques, and almost anything victorian. I collect teapots, teacups and besides just looking at them in our house we like to use them.

I started painting 24 years ago when we lived in upstate New York. In 1986 we moved to Quebec, Canada for 10 years, where I taught in several shops finally owning my own business. I did private contracts painting for a company who made reproduction furniture which was shipped all over the world.

Quebec is a beautiful providence filled with gorgeous flowers in the summer. I'm sure this is one of the reasons for my great love of flowers, and using them in my own designs.

The Lord has truly blessed the Switzer family and we would like to introduce you to the One who has made our home such a sweet Heaven on earth. First of all, we have to realize that we are all sinners. I know that some of us are really good people, but the Bible says that all have sinned. For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.(Romans 3:23)
Once we realize that we are all sinners, we must realize what the consequences are because of our sins. For the wages of sin is death... (Romans 6:23a)
No matter how many good deeds we might accomplish in our lives, we would never be able to erase the punishment of our sins, which is death. There is One that has paid the debt for our sins. His name is Jesus Christ. For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (Romans 6:23b)
Now you may be asking yourself who can receive this gift of eternal life? Well, the Bible says that anyone can receive eternal life, all they have to do is believe. That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. (Romans 10:9,10,& 13)
Once you have confessed your sins to God, you will receive the gift of eternal life. The Bible reassures our salvation over and over throughout the scriptures. These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God. (I John 5:13)
I do want to thank you for taking the time to read about my Lord Jesus Christ, and what He has to offer you. If you have any questions on what you just read or are interested in learning more, please email me and I will be happy to respond. Thank You...
