Scent-Sational Valentine Ornaments
Hang these decorative valentine ornaments to fill
your room with the fragrance of cinnamon.
- In a bowl, mix 3/4 cup of cinnamon,
- 1 tablespoon ground allspice,
- 2 tablespoons ground cloves,
- and one tablespoon ground nutmeg.
- Then add one cup of applesause.
- (good enough to eat, but.....now you add....) in
one and a half tablespoons of white glue
and mix well until the mixture is stiff. Between two
sheets of waxed paper, roll out the dough to a
1/4" thickness. Use a heart-shaped cookie cutter
to cut out the ornaments. Using a drinking
straw, poke a hole in each one for
hanging. Allow to dry at room temperature for
approximately seven days.
When dry, insert a ribbon in the top of each heart and suspend it from the ceiling. Enjoy the
spicy aroma!
