MERIDIAN TRIANGLE

The Leadership Conference was the most fun our Triangle has had in a while. We're like sisters, so of course we bicker a lot, the thing that was amazing about it was that we didn't!!! We made a lot of new friends from upstate and our Triangle was the most rambunctious (I think that's why we won the spirit stick =) We had a party every night and made a lot of memories with a lot of pictures to go with it ;-) Well, I guess I just wanted to say that it was a success and we should definitely do it again next year.
I'm happy to report that our membership is picking up. We just got a new initiate and we all love her!!! We're even having a special initiation for a few other girls who are interested in joining. I'm so happy I was a part of keeping our Triangle together and making it stronger.
The last thing I would like to mention is that my time is almost up, we had elections and that was my last meeting as Beloved Queen. I would like to thank everyone that is a part of the Organization of Triangles for giving me the honor of being Beloved Queen of Meridian Triangle #71. I have been in Triangle for 5 years and it has been the best experience of my life. I've learned so many things that I can't get into because the newsletter isn't long enough =) I just wanted to thank the Triangles is Suffolk District and Sunrise Triangle for all their support, as well as the Triangles upstate. Last, but not least, a special thank you to Mrs. Lynch for listening to us and trying to make us ALL happy ;-)

Fides Triangle News:

Fides Triangle has been keeping busy during the winter months and we are planning a lot for spring! In February, we initiated a new member into our Triangle, Kellie. In March, we 6 members and 2 adults attended Leadership Weekend in Glens Falls. We all enjoyed teddy bear picnic, conversation with other Triangles and the workshops! Two members participated in the Ritual/Degree Exemplifications and we all attended workshops throughout the weekend. Everyone came back with some great memories and new ideas. Also in the month of March, each girl in our Triangle donated cakes to the Masons for a chicken barbeque. We also performed our newly written degree for the Grand Matron of Eastern Star in Lake George. Some of our members traveled to Latham to help initiate the new members of the soon-to-be Amsterdam Triangle...Congratulations girls! Fides has been busy planning many activities for the upcoming months, including a float in our local Memorial Day parade, a car wash, rockathon, Installation of Officers, and we will attend a Cancer Survivors Day in June at Bennington Hospital. So, as you can see, we have been busy and will remain busy throughout the upcoming months! Please visit our new webpage. It is currently being built, but stop by and check out Fides Triangle #24!

In Triangle Love,
Nicole
