These are pictures of another Cody Variant made by Dan.  His kites often draw crowds of  Spectators eager to help with assembly.

Notice that the tail section consists of a single cell.

The Red Baron Cody Variant is owned by Gary Mark of Oakville, Ontario. 

It is being flown at the Four Winds Kite Festival held by the Toronto Kite Fliers at the Kortwright Centre for Conservation.

This kite is a "Cody Variant".  A compilation of Leonardo DaVinci, Samuel F. Cody, and Buck Rogers.  It has an 11 foot wingspan and is 10 feet long. 

This kite was made for the Smithsonian Kite Fly in the Spring of 1999.  Again, notice that the tail is of the single cell type.
