The following is my review which I posted on "The Lake". Please don't use my review without my written permission.

I went to London, but all I saw was Crystal Palace
I finally made it down to London...spend three days there and the only thing I saw was the tube (the underground), a few trains and Crystal Palace.

Two amazing shows!

On Sunday, I went down to London and met up with a friend and her family and on Monday we took the banner down to the Badlands party and eventually to someone who was in the GA line. It was great to finally meet some Lakers and put faces to those names!

As we had seats, we didn’t make our way down to the stadium till bout 6.30pm. Max’s drumming is just amazing. At one point I thought he was gonna fall of his seat! Seeing Bruce’s face during that line in The Fuse is priceless.
Out in the Street was a lot of fun and at one point, when every member in the band sings their line, Nils walked up to the mic and the poor guy couldn’t reach the microphone! It looked like he was laughing about it tho…
I don’t know what the hell was wrong with the audience in our section, but they basically didn’t get out their seats until Bruce told them to get their English asses outta their seats during Mary’s Place. Me, I don’t sit down at all, so it was really weird seeing all these people sitting down. I know everybody experiences a concert in different ways, but how can you sit down during songs like The Promised Land and Badlands? Before the show, I said that there were two songs I really wanted to hear… Jungleland and Thunder Road… You’ve all probably seen the setlist… The combination of Meeting Across the River, Jungleland, Into the Fire and Thunder Road is absolutely beautiful. I was really hoping to hear Jungleland and Thunder Road, but to also get Meeting… (I love that third verse!) I noticed that some people have already posted bout me getting all misty eyed during Thunder Road… I couldn’t help it… During Meeting I kept thinking, “please do Jungleland, please. That’d be so great” and then came Jungleland followed by Into the Fire (a prayer!). And then when those first notes of Thunder Road started I remember looking at my friend and thinking “holy sh*t!” Those four songs are definitely one of many highlights of the show for me! I’d heard the mp3 of Seven Nights to Rock and live it’s even more fun!

All in all, I had a great time at the show and it was good to see some Lakers. I’m so glad I got to hear Jungleland and Thunder Road!
3 hours of Bruce… what more do you want?

Well… front row on Tuesday maybe?
