my precious son...your body is at rest
Your soul
has been taken...and in Jesus you're blest
The demons
are gone now ~ that troubled you so long
The battle
is OVER - to Jesus, you belong!
Your kind
heart and spirit now dwell in the sky
Your soul
is at peace now - that's why our Lord died!
He carried
you over when death took its toll
By angels
in Heaven - My Lord you behold!
It's just
as He promised - you walk hand-in-hand
With Jesus,
your Lord now, you clearly understand
A love so far
greater than you ever knew
You're now
in eternity - you'll never be blue.
Watch over
us now, Son...Keep faith and you'll see
