May blossoms
Many things
And shows
us all
The rebirth
of spring
Long long ago
On a day in
May
A birth occurred
I'm happy
to say
A child was
born
And later
became
A wife and
mother
We shared
the last name
On the 27th
In the year
of 1923
Her birth
happened
Twenty two
years later....she had me!
This year her
birthday
Falls on Memorial
Day
A day for
world remembrance
But a special
prayer I'll say
Mom, it's been
so long
The years
have passed by
I never forget
your birthday
Or the questions,
why?
You left without
seeing
Your grandchildren
grow
But I'm teaching
them everything
You taught
me to know
I just wanted
to say Happy Birthday
And say I
love you
I know Dad
remembers
He always
talks about you
If Heaven has
parties
I know you'll
be there
But remember
on earth
There are
we who care
Happy Birthday
