EVERYWHERE~
I was sitting
on a park bench
The snow was
falling down
Thinking of
the Holidays
When this
child suddenly sat down
Eyes as blue
as the ocean
Lips as red
as a rose
A cute little
dimple
And a little
turned up nose
She watched
me as she sat there
Me looking
back at she
When suddenly
she said "hi"
"Do you wanna
talk to me?"
I said "Sure,
what do you want to talk about
And where
is your mom?"
For I saw
no adults around
When her face
suddenly turned into a frown
I'm much older
than I look to be
She smiled
a little grin
I smiled back
at her
She winked
then grinned again
I said where
do you live at
She nodded
with her head
Oh, out there
somewhere
I have a comfy
bed
I thought this
was odd
For a child
about five years old
To talk as
though she were an adult
But she was
only five years old
She reached
out her little hand
And place
it in mine
And grinned
that cute little smile
And said,
"All will be fine."
I stared at
her and wondered
Who was this
child I saw
And how was
her wisdom
So wise for
one so small
And then in
a blink of an eye
She vanished
in front of me
But I heard
her giggles from above
I looked up
to see
I saw a snowflake
falling
Acting crazily
as it fell
It tumbled
then lifted up again
And then began
to swell
It giggled
her giggle
It landed
on my arm
And though
it sat there still
I knew I'd
witnessed an angels' charm
We never know
what will come
We can never
be prepared
To be given
a sign from Heaven
And our Angels
who live there
Angels are
all around us
Disguises
are their way
To reach out
and touch us
On any given
day
When something
seems impossible
That you witness
with your eyes
Don't shake
your head in disbelief
It's only
your angel in disguise
