DEAR
GOD, CAN YOU HEAR ME?
Dear God,
this is me
I'm needing
someone to talk to you see
And I pray
You are here
with me
You know my
heart is weary
From what
life has dealt me
There are
so many others
Who also want
to see
We pray to
You so much
And some need
to know
That You hear
our prayers
To heaven
that they go
This world
is fast changing
I'm sure you're
aware
And I'm sure
that You're not happy
That some
people just don't care
But I care
God,
And it's the
reason that I ask
For all of
us who hurt
With questions
that we ask
We don't understand
why children
Are taken
from us
We don't understand
And please
don't make a fuss
So many of
us ask WHY
Why me, and
why my child
The broken
hearts are many
So many cannot
smile
I heard
Your voice one night
When I could
not go on
I'll never
forget what You did
It helped
me grow so strong
But God, show
me the way
That I can
pass along
And let all
the others know
That we did
nothing wrong
We couldn't
take over
When your
angels came
But You can
help the parents
When they
call our your name
Many need you
God
And I still
do too
You have my
little boy
In heaven
with you
Listen to our
prayers
And answer
each call
Because without
You
We have nothing
at all
Thank you God
for listening
With what
I've asked today
Please answer
the prayers
We all send
Your way
