Your cute little smile
The way you hugged me
Though if only for a little while

The things that you learned
Like not touching toads
Though to touch, you just yearned

My life with you
And how the angels came
Much too soon

I close my eyes my child
The years go backward in time
To the days we were together
I was yours, you were mine

All these years have passed
How quickly they flew
But I'll always remember
The love in my heart for you
