11, 2001~
~IN
MEMORY~
The smoke filled
air that September
Sirens screaming
all around
The world
stood in shock
As the twin
towers struck the ground
Graves buried
in rubble
Hearts broken
that day
The world
witnessed a tragedy
So many lives
taken away
Husbands and
wives alone
Children without
dads
Everywhere
there was crying
Everything
was so sad
Lives that
are changed
And will never
be the same
The day we
all witnessed
A nightmare
that day
We watched
in shock and horror
Silently we
prayed
For our country
was attacked
In an ugly,
horrible way
Let's bow our
heads together
Never let
us ever forget
The lives
that were taken
The tears
that still are wept
In Memory of
all lives taken on 9-11
