~WE
REMEMBER~
No one will
ever forget
September
11, 2001
For that was
the day
America stood
stunned
No one can
ever forget
The day this
Nation cried
When the families
of the victims
Had to say
good bye
America took
a beating
One that stunned
the world
We all saw
a little flag fly
Held by a
small girl
Countries shared
our pain
Pictures we
saw told us that was true
The whole
world mourned
For a Nation
wounded by a few
And yet, we
are America
And this is
our home
America grieves
this day
For the lives
that never came home
From shore
to shore we remember
The events
that changed our lives
Children who
lost parents
Husband's
who lost wives
Hearts that
are changed
From the tragic
events we saw
When America
came together
And Old Glory
flew for us all
Let's bow our
heads in prayer
And remember
the lives taken that day
For we are
America
And no one
can take our freedom away
We Remember
God Bless
America
