saw a rosebud
in bloom
Just waiting
for spring
I thought
of you today
Oh how my
heart did sing
I saw a butterfly
land
And rest upon
a tree
I thought
of you today
I wish you
were here with me
I saw the blue
sky above
The clouds
so white and new
I thought
of you today
Remembering
things we once used to do
I saw a mother
with a child
I had to hold
back the tears
I thought
of you today
Remembering
our short years
I thought of
you today
And yesterday
too
I'll think
of you tomorrow
I'll never
stop thinking of you
