We never know
what tomorrow
Will bring
into our lives
Sometimes
we take for granted
We'll always
have our husbands and wives
Sometimes we
hear of a tragedy
That someone
else has lived through
And we sometimes
say, "That won't happen to us"
But there's
no guarantee it won't happen to you
Sometimes we
look around us
And see others
who we feel has more
The neighbor
with the Mercedes,
Or the old
woman who's "loaded" next door
Sometimes we
sometime get angry
And think,
Why can't that be me?
Sometimes
we wear rose colored glasses
We have eyes,
but some just don't see
Sometimes we
forget what really matters
Things that
should come from the heart
Sometimes
we get so wrapped up with life
We play a
role and have a good part
Sometimes we
should look around us
And see life
for what it really is
And not take
anything for granted
Take each
day, but also learn how to forgive
Pick up the
phone that you look at
And call that
friend or relative you don't speak to
What if something
happened ....
Think about
it - what would you do?
Mothers and
daughters are separated
By riffs that
should never have been
Fathers and
sons are not speaking
Because each
has too much pride to give in
But if today
was the last day you had
I bet there
are things you would think of
Swallow that
pride you've kept within
And remember
our Savior above
He didn't put
us here to squabble
He didn't
want what goes on today
He only asked
that we love one another
And make friends
along journey's way
I think about
my child in Heaven
I know there
was no blemish on his soul
I wish the
world could learn a lesson
From a child
who was only five years old
God Bless
