~HOW
FAR IS HEAVEN?~
Many ask a
question
That has been
asked for years
Trying to
find the answer
Through grief
and falling tears
How far is
Heaven
We all want
to know
Is our loved
ones happy
Are their
hearts all aglow
Parents who
have went on
Siblings and
children too
Leaving us
behind with questions
So important
to me and you
Things that
we've been told
Stories about
streets paved in gold
But how far
is heaven
Is there anyone
that knows?
I can only
imagine
What it's
really like up there
Angels and
goodness
Being everywhere
Colors that
are vibrant
Like nothing
we've ever seen
I need to
know the answer
It's very
important to me
My child has
left this earth
And went on
above
I have to
believe he's ok
And that he
knows he is loved
I can't imagine
What view
my child sees
I can only
pray my faith
Brings comfort
to me
And yet there
are stories
That many
do share
About "visits"
from their loved ones
Giving faith
everywhere
Stories of
seeing someone
Who has left
this world we know
Stories about
aromas and sounds
Bright lights
that seem to glow
Words spoken
out loud
From our loved
ones some have heard
Or standing
in front of us smiling
Love
with unspoken words
We cannot say
these things are impossible
For so many
are seeing them today
I feel it's
many angels
Saying, "I'm
ok."
How far is
heaven?
I don't know
if we will ever know
I don't think
it's really far
When we let
God into our soul
My little boy
is in heaven
And I know
he's ok
The messages
he's sent me
Let's me know.......Heaven
is not that far away
